I still don't understand what the hell Nelson Cruz was doing on that play. It looks like he made no effort to catch it!!!

There's simply no excuse for that ball to have went over Cruz's head. I blame the manager. He should have been standing with his back against the fucking wall when the tying run was on 1st base. You cannot allow the ball to go over your head. Especially when there's 2 outs since everyone is running on contact. Awful defensive positioning.

+apolinar de la cruz It seems that at that moment Rangers had very deep outfield (so called no double defense). So a ball hitting the wall should have been caught, unless the outfielder misjudged it.
