funny how they press us so hard to prove our theories especially big bang and evolution (we already have evidence for evolution) so why not test the big bang theory. I guess the truth is too much to handle for humanity at this time we still need more time to evolve.

+Kieran T you just need to read Hawkings quotes in the article to understand that we are in no danger and the title of the article is misleading garbage. you dont need to be scientifically literate to understand this (even though it helps) you simply need to be literate.

+Carlos Danger the headline of the origional article is "Stephen Hawking Says 'God Particle' Scientists Are On Verge Of Destroying Universe" if thats no obvious click baiting bullshit then nothing is. In the article they even put "Thankfully there is a glimmer of hope which is that Hawking reiterates that not only is it extremely unlikely to ever happen, but that 'a particle accelerator that reaches 100bn GeV would be larger than Earth, and is unlikely to be funded in the present economic climate." <--- this isnt about scientific literacy, its about add revenue and misleading journalism.
