My car would not start any time it was below freezing temperatures. It wouldn't produce spark, which lead us to change the distributor, ignition coil, and coolant ...
I had this with my lude a month ago but it resolved after I cleaned out all
the sensors and repositioned the spark plugs wires.one of those fixed the
problem
prelude starting problem
my prelude dosent start. this is me trying to start it in hope someone may be able to help me lead to the solution on why it doesn't start list of changed out parts: ...
@msia4000 Well typically the battery powers the starter motor, the lights
and the ignition system. In this case perhaps, the battery only has enough
voltage to power the electrical system of the vehicle. If the battery were
fully charged then the engine's ignition system would kick in or attempt to
kick in. I'm not stupid. The problem here is that you apparently believe
that the modern internal combustion engine doesn't require a battery in
order to function. What, are batteries just for kids?
ooh actually it ended up being the distributor.. the mechanic who worked on
it got the wrong distributor and screwed us over. and yea the fuel relay
was actually one of the last pieces we changed out. but thank you verry
much for your reply! and i hope any car problems u might have in the future
u can hopefully figure out quickly! thanks agian for your response tho!
@kstupnik thats kinda funny cause thats how it was with my car as well.it
was really temperamental and would only work when it was about 80 degrees
out. any warmer it would have issues and any colder would take an hour + to
get it started. i had replaced the fuel filter fuel pump some relays and a
huge list i cant remember it all. but it was just the distributor
@surgednb The car is actually cranking. What i am saying is that if it were
the battery then the car would have cranked very slow or even not cranked
at all.But the car is actually cranking very good so that is why im saying
that the battery can not be the problem. That is how Honda's crank ,I know
this because my sister owns a 2001 Honda civic lx.
What year is your prelude? It looks exactly like mine, and mine is an 87.
Did you get the problem figured out? Mine is having starting issues too,
but the fuel pump doesn't even kick on sometimes, so I am going to change
the fuel filter and see if that helps.
at least its up and running mine i bought for $150 and i got a couple
problems i got so hose out timing belt broke (lucky it broke at a stop) no
battery so this spring me and my dad are going to hopefully get it going my
87 honda lunch box LOL.
yea thats what we were thinking too. ive replaced that along with numerous
other parts i updated the description with more info about the problem. but
thank you for your time any other suggestions are welcome!
@kstupnik no its gas. and well i got that problem fixed a while ago it
ended up being the distributor. just the first mechanic who replaced it did
so with the wrong one.
Sorry! I hope everything is pretty well explained in the written text for
all my vids—but if you want to hear my mellifluous Australian accent, check

Prelude X+4 − "Involución" (original; now with a score)
Prelude X+4 − "Involución". I chose the term Involución as a way to reflect how our evolution may go wrong (or is already going wrong) and lead to collapse if we ...
Thank you, honored to have gotten it faved, and named that way! I'm glad
you found the subtext interesting too, it is part of the general context of
my work, without it there would be just emptiness. I think it helps to
serve something larger than oneself, and never to forget that! :D
Very interesting subtext - very interesting theme! ... And I certainly tend
to agree with it! And this little composition is a tour de force! - I faved
it. : D
Many many thanks. Those dissonant resonances are just so important here. At
the end I had to use a keyboard, my usual PC software just coun't handel
it! :)
