I have the EXACT same noise coming from my Audi 80.

I have the exact problem with my prelude si, did adjusting the valves and
regular oil change quit it down?

This is the 1988 honda prelude 2.0 si. The engine was remove to install a JDM H22 V-tec. this 2.0 engine has 270000 miles with a 5 speed manual transmission.
