:D LOL. Thanks for the idea. Actually when I took this video you may not be able to see it but the wind was so strong that rain is going sideways. I had my jacket draped over my head and over the camera when I filmed this and it almost completely blew it off. I couldn't zoom in on this shot because I was using one hand to hold the jacket down. :)

Try searching for "camera umbrella" on Google shopping. I got a nice little umbrella and attachment to stick it to my tripod and it allows me to shoot in the rain without worrying about my camera. Just an idea :)

Haha thanks for noticing, Brian! I'm not afraid of a little wind, hail, lightning, etc. When I was young, a lightning bolt hit a tree some 60 yds away from me in my mother's hometown in Mexico. I lost part of my hearing, but not to a severe degree. Honestly, the splinters from the tree did more damage to my back than the thunderclap did to my ears. Ever since then, storms just fascinate me & I don't mind getting caught in severe weather. Thanks for watching & sharing your love for crazy weather!

You are a real trooper, Jose, but it paid off with this great filming. At one point I thought the sky looked almost like it does preceding a tornado. Weather was not going to get the best of you. People think I am crazy when I bike in very cold or stormy weather but it is part of the adventure to me.
