Sergie rams his way through the Rockies between Alberta and British Columbia. Start: Hinton, AB. Finish: Merritt, BC. Miles: 375. Average speed: 54 MPG.
breath taking country. honk your horn at animals (not the one's in the pick
up, haha) i blow mine at kangaroo's here. at night they like to look into
the light (not pretty) do you have winter wipers on sergie?
no, my wipers are regular but i just had them replaced last time i did an old change. the old ones were leaving dirt on the windshield. the new ones are much better.
Highest point on the Yellowhead Highway 16 is at Obed Summit just East of
Hinton Ab. Even though the highway goes through the mountains of Ab and BC
it follows along river valleys with the exception of several passes
including Yellowhead pass at Ab/BC border which is still lower than Obed!
hats off to the director of phtography the camera work was great .the
scenery was
breathtaking. the audio inside the cab seemed much better the engine noise
was
much more muted.great job by all the crew from sergie right down to sergie.
happy new year have fun in the big apple.
Hi Sergie, I said yesterday I could hardly wait for this trip, you never
let me down, beautiful scenery. When you get back home and get that new
setup (camera system) I hope you get the same view with that amount of hood
showing, missed your talking but I know the reason so looking forward for
next video. Thanks
Thanks for reply, I will check out 23, never miss any episodes. I like your format, everything described well on what you do. at the 3.10 mark, bighorn sheep, I think, must be scary at night, they don't seem to be afraid, drive safe.
yeah, i didn't talk much because i knew there'd be too much noise. once i have the external mike, i'll be able to add real-time comments and that would make vids more interesting. check out Episode 23 - that one shows some scary stuff on the BC side too, like the 18 KM long 8% grade where trucks were 'advised' to stay at 60 KM/H.
