+Wyatt Cup snapping triceps syndrome is technically your medial head
subluxating over the medial epicondyl, so did you have that going on in
addition to your ulnar nerve subluxation? Also, when your nerve popped out
during a movement would it cause pain and numbness at that moment or would
those things come on later? I've got surgeons giving me conflicting info so
any insight on that you have would be helpful. Thanks.
+Marc Walters Nooo it turns out that that was a misdiagnosis. I never actually thought I had that anyways but my doctor told me that initially so... yeah. Only had ulnar nerve subluxation.
wow i hear you. i swear i have the same thing ! i been down nd depressed
for 3 months i have not worked out upper body. i live in canada so I'm
waiting for neurologist. Did it hurt when lowering on push ups or bench?
like did it click and send numbness to your pinky nd ring finger? what can
i do right now! the appointment is end of october.
i been working out 3 years. Literally i did a arm workout and did close grip bench and i was fine after workout it was not a sudden or acute injury. I woke up the next day and something along my tricep nd elbow felt fucked and its been 3 months or so now and i haven't done upper body. It hurts to do any pushing exercise(especially lowering or eccentric part) and also lifting or abducting to the side hurts. i get a lot of click nd snaping from it. Its such a bitch i knew it wasn't rotator cuff injury because i had one a year ago which is totally healed.
+Michael Lima (HouseofGainz) The most you can do is take time off, ice the elbow area for like 10-15 min 3x a day and/or figure out all exercises that cause it to not snap. Did yours come on suddenly after already working out for a long time? Or have you had it since you started?
I have gotten an ULNAR NERVE TRANSPOSITION SURGERY to correct this issue
after trying and exhausting all routes of "healing" . Check out my recovery

+Wyatt Cupp Just kind of wondering how much surgery is? I have it in both elbows. I can do cables and machines without bothering it to bad. Bar on chest, skull crushers, behind the head tri workouts kill me. Like you said in some of the comments bench is awful. Heavy weight half way down it snaps... going up half way up it snaps
Hey what's up Wyatt, how are you healing?
I've had this since last year happened to me from a lot of Heavy pressing
movements. I laid off the weights for a month, but never fully healed.
Now I make sure to do Flossing and warm ups before exercising also this
ulnar nerve is bringing me wrist pain (aches) so I wear wrist wraps. When I
bench heavy I make sure to wear elbow sleeves and if I go too heavy I'll
start to feel tingles run though my forearm down to ring and pinky finger..
so I try not to do this too often to avoid nerve damage.
I've heard Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12 are good for the nerves so I take
this

*Let me know if you have any info that can help me with this as well
Thanks
+Wyatt Cupp Honestly I never went to have it checked out, I've only done my own research via the web and kind of been put off it by hearing all the negative rants about physios just taking standard protocols(RICE & Ibuprofen)...so I don't know if there are many diff stages of ulnar nerve entrapment. I don't seem to have anything sticking out of my elbow like a bump as some people have described. I'm able to do almost all movements from benching, dips, french curls, pull ups, db presses etc. the only exercise I have noticed my elbow hurt is while deadlifting which makes sense because the arm is in full extension.. also loss of grip strength, can't seem to double overhand as much weight as I used too.Good luck on the surgery and a speedy recovery back into Bodybuilding my friend!
Is your ulnar nerve subluxing?(snapping)? If it is, then it WON'T go away. I have tried every single route of healing imaginable, including no gym at all for 6 months. How in the world can you bench? That's the one movement that is the absolute worst it(at least for me). I'm getting a surgery February 19th, so I'll have videos about everything afterwards, recovery and weight training with this surgery. Good luck to you!
Well if you search on Internet you will find that the only solution is
surgery.I have done the surgery on August 28 unfortunately the snap is
steal there.I have an appointment with my doctor to figure out what is
going on.On the other hand I have noticed that the snapping doesn't
happened when I perform a push-up.
It's the same sensation I think I don't know.Maybe not as severe as it was before. It is early yet to make conclusions.I want to go to the gym first and see.Man just go to a doctor I am from Greece I think that in your country the doctor is way better than ours so just go and ask a doctor
Well the snapp is still there but now I can perform push-ups and bench press without feeling the snap.I also can do over head tricep And bend my elbow more than 90 degrees.I am a little bit confused with my situation I think that is better to start lift heavy again and see what is going on...I hope that I will be ok!!!you should visit a neurologist And ask him what is happening with your elbow.
I don't know what is going on.i told my doctor that I was feeling the snapp again and he said "that is impossible".As I told you have an appointment with him to see what's is going on.
so your ulnar nerve is moved above the medial epicondyle and the snap in the elbow is still there?! so it wasnt your ulnar nerve?
