Can you drive a car without a motor? I mean you've got the steering wheel,
tires, and a seat. You've got brakes, so what do you need the motor for?
---Not meant as a dig, just sometimes a question can be answered best with
a comparable question. The amplifier is kind of like the motor in your car.
Getting your speakers to play without an amp, is like driving a car with no
motor. Connecting your mixer straight to your speakers, would be like
trying to bike peddle your car.
just a small tip....if ur gonna scratch...what i like to do is KILL the
LOWS because everytime you hit your hand down on the record to bring the
record back it makes a thud sound... only when scratching (scratch DJ) not
when bring a song into the mix via backspins....i found the scratching
sounds better without that thud, only the scratch sample....Practise and N
Joy!!ur awsome...
Bloody F#$king hell M8... you know I to have comment on that but I don't
even have words. If you can somehow ignore the overuseage of this word over
the past 25 years or so, then I'll say it. Awesome, simply awesome, as in
I'm in Awe. That is the single best dedication ever. Thank you. I'm proud
to be your student.
Are those your wifes shoes.... or do you just like to dress in drag
sometimes when dj'ing... haha.. I just noticed them.. yo man... i noticed
you only scracth with one hand.. try both..and theres somn up with your
crossfader.. like a lot of people said its pretty tiny. But sweet lil
mix... kept me smiling=)
hello brian im about to post a comment that has nothing to dot with the
video but i would like to ask you something after i watched that video why
does a DJ need an amplifier. My question is cant you just connect the mixer
to the speakers without an amplifier ?
I'm thinkin you must have a percussionist mindset when scratchin to the mix
- very nice feel for spaces. Plus, you have to be multi-tasking a
three-ring circus, it seems. Impressive to watch as well as listen. I've
got nothin but MASSIVE respect for ya.
Hi Johnathan, Nicely cut up - Mind you, I was always (self) taught to alter
the speed of the cued track, not the playing track when beatmatching. Don't
you just love Edwards/Rogers basslines? Clive.
Man what a fun mix. Classic song that to me at least never gets old. Love
your vids man. Respect to Grandmaster Caz who never recieved recognition
for the lyrics to rappers delight.
I absolutely relate to what you said about getting nervous. It keeps you on
the edge and more aware of possible things that can go wrong. Thank you for
saying what I feel.
thanks for posting this video on how to play the guitar I never knew how to

all about that bass with no problem Thanks so much Eric

Cool--I teach Middle School strings, and I've been trying to figure this
out to show my bass players. Even though there are a few minor differences
for upright bass, I can tweak it. Plus a few of them already have their own
bass guitars, so they can do try it this way!

Hi thanks a lot for the lesson !! I started learning bass 3 weeks ago and I
would like to ask you if there are bass tabs to download? I can manage
intro but aftrrwards it is too fast for me. Thank you!!
Hi. There are no tabs other than what's in the video. Here is what you do. Learn a little bit at a time. Don't try to play along with the video until you have the parts down. Learn a little bit. Play it up to speed. Then learn another piece. Then put all the pieces together. After all these years of playing, that's still the way I learn songs. Thanks for watching my stuff! it! Your video made learning this song easy! Thanks, Eric!!!

dont forget to be realistic - you must do a bit of work whichever method

I used to find it hard playing a chord multiple times instead of once per loop. My hands couldn't get into the rhythm and I'd if just fall out of rhythm. I'll you as cliche as it sounds just practice. I've practiced so much recently I've found ways my hands can reach keys and how to play chords rhythmically it takes a while - 3-4 months of significant practice and learning a lot of new song and now I can do it just try it
+ItsJosten! i can play stuff at the same time but I tried so many times with the song "R u Mine?" by arctic monkeys and it just seems impossible the song is easy to play though...
+Holly Rawlinson well i do have small hands too its just i cant for the life of me play two different things at the same time...like its physically impossible for me
+Holly Rawlinson I usually take out a note because most Synthesia videos get the perfect sound and the perfect sound can sometimes be too complicated on piano. For example, the first chord in this song. Just take out the 2nd C and it should practically sound the same but not perfect.
Top cake decorator Elaine MacGregor shows the viewer how to make lifelike edible floral decorations using simple sugarpaste techniques. This video shows ...
I am an orchid grower w 150+ plants & a cake maker/decorator, sending out
4-6 highly decorated wedding/special occasion cakes/month. I've viewed MANY
orchid/flower making tutorials, some costing +$30, but none is more concise
& perfect than yours. Your videos show how to achieve wonderful results
without spending a lot of money on classes or tools for those that don't
already have them. You are very talented & generous with your knowledge &
for that I thank you. Best Wishes!.. MotherSquid
Thank you Elaine for your tutorials...I've added all of them to my favs
list... Thank you for sharing and giving me inspiration to try and make
some of these beautiful flowers....I do hope you continue sharing your
talent, I'm looking forward for more segments....Again, THANK YOU!!!!!
suzipadmar- you have to allow the flowers to dry completely before removing
them from the tray. I hope that helps you. Also, I was wondering if
thefoodcourt has a facebook account, I couldn't find one. Or, if you have a
blog, that would be great too.
Elaine MacGregor wrote a dozen books beginning in the late 80s. She also
produced these videos as training aides for a culinary school in
Britain...can't remember the name of it...but you can still get her books
through Amazon.
I think BecuzImAGurl1314 has a problem with her broser, if the video stops
at 3:17. I have watched it numerous times and it never stops. BTW.. this is
excellent and makes the most beautiful orchids!! thank you!!
WONDERFUL TUTORIAL, YOU MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY AND INTERESTING..YOU EXPLAIN
IT SO WELL. NOW COMES THE CRUNCH FOR ME TO TRY AND DO ONE. THANK YOU I WILL
FOLLOW MORE OF YOUR VIDEOS.
the dried flower at the end has narrow arms and wide head and legs, whereas
the one on the tutorial has wide arms and narrow head and legs. Which looks
nicer?
I've seen orchids made by many different people but I have never seen an
instructional so detailed and so understandable. Thank you very much for
sharing.

wow, so you have a warehouse load of brainless friends.. well done. Who?
Who? how can you sau you bet they have more friends then me? and they
probably do, they are "professional" djs (by the sound of it) so they know
a lot of people. i mean hardcore is just so brainless... who wants to
listen to the same distorted DONK DONK kick all night? try something that
requires a brain to produce, you fucking tool
@mishabruml Hardcore is an artform. You don't have to like it, it's just
there. It does take brains to produce, just like every other genre, from
trip hop to breakcore. Don't hate, appreciate. Personaly (as in my personal
opinion) the DONK DONK beats the WUBUBUBUBUBU of dubstep anyday. Doesn't
mean I don't like dubstep, dubstep is alright, but not as exciting.
Lots of people want to listen to donk donk all night, and if its not your
type of music then you dont need to leave me a shitty comment basicaly
saying noboby likes the type of person i am, and i dont think people like
gobby little wankers who have to pull others down to make them selfs feel
better... you get fucked and have a nice day, TOOL.
oh i like to see you mix johnathan. the way you twiddle the pitch... wish i
had room for both my turntables, as you know im tight for space with the
kid coming along. AND FOR PEOPLE SAYING WHATS THE RUSH its a mix comp. its
showing mix skills whatever your style. nice one johnny as always keep it up
fair enough if you like it, but dont come onto videos saying "its all about
hardcore" because its really really not. anyone with a PC can produce
hardcore mate, and i dont feel better pulling you down because
unfortunately im onyl pulling you down, not the whole hardcore population
does it matter its to keep it short and sweet lol 10 min mix is easyer than
sain 9 and a half min mix am sorry a missed a few min get a grip ya daftys!
tutors sound and knows what hes talkin about prob did gigs whe yaz where in
pappies.!! peace out cheerz for the mix.
I didnt say the hole Hardcore sene i said you like pulling people down, and
when i say its all about the hardcore i was just sayin what music i like...
sort it out stop trying to be a hard man on your pc, get a life and you
might not have to give shit for fun.
I agree, ellaskins should softly fade out of the track and make unnoticable
that he mixxed out of the track instead of just drop it out. Overall the
mixx is really good. Yes I spell MIXX with 2 XX's I know. That's the way
all DJ's should spell it.
U're Freaking Insane Maaaan! :d REALLY REALLY NICE! I hope that One Day
I'll be As good as U are :) grtz From belgium (i'm dj'ing for 4 months now
:) plz rate and comment my vids. :) New are on their way to Utube :d Cheers
Oh I don't think he could have taken it slower, in the time available.
Realistically, he gave himself 51s per track (11 tracks in 9.5mins), so if
he took any longer to mix he wouldn't have got all 11 tracks in!
Cheers ;) wonderful atittude you have! Doing all this things to help future
or wannabes djs. Thanks. By the way, excellente house set ;), really simple
but really good. Greetings from POrtugal
Very nice man, i've been watchin your tutorial videos and now i really get
what u talkin about, keep goin man!!! and thanx for taking your time to
teach others how to mix!
maybe so he doesnt go past the 10 min mark, lol considering it is a ten min
mix, dont you look at the recording time when you mix, he doesnt have a lap
top at hand..
I think i would better understand how to mix if you did a mix without using
your headphones to beatmatch , and just did it outloud , maybe you could do
one for me
awesome man. ok, i seryusly used to think u were a rubish dj when u were
teaching scratching. but ur an awesome mixer! sorry for making the harsh
comments b4 =S
I kept listening for Break 4 Love cause I ain't heard it in years, but I
didn't notice it. Must be a remix, because it don't sound like the song I
remember.
good! really good! i only saw one thing that i disliked..i think you must
play more the music during more time :S for exemple you play 2 musics in 1
min :S
here is a question. songs like "armand van helden - you don't know me" with
cool long intros, do you usually mix in the next song before the vocals
start?
hardcore is the best, even if you don't like the music just check out the
mixes dj cottts and ravine are just ridiculously good, certainly not
brainless
hi nice mixes u got eney tips for me cus im a beginner lol bin doin it for
bout a yr now and i just would like to no eney tips ? thanks
