Hmmm!!!! U are right!!! My question is since they know Prohibition won't work why do they still enforce it on illegal drugs? I think we have enough education with all of drunk driving accidents reported on the nightly news...I think if they would incorporate a way for taxicabs to carry people too drunk to drive home funded by DUI fines through the state this would drive the rate of DUI down and use the"fishbowl" test...if that individual can't collect car keys from fishbowl then he can't drive

LMAO!!! Not only am I an American Army Vet... I live right in Tacoma...I have driven taxi for Tacoma and Seattle's FarWest Cab and have seen too many examples of people under the influence of alcohol...even in my ARMY days I have saw the negative effects of alcohol of how people got out of control from alcohol...also the other personalities that appear upon people who over-indulge..some folks CHANGE for the WORSE...And I think its more than a "few" that can't control themselves under influence

YES...BAN IT!!! Except for prescription from a Dr....WEED ,Cocaine,Heroin are BANNED...Why not ban Alcohol since it is the MOST dangerous drug...If he was not drunk from the alcohol he would have had more control of the vehicle and Jason Wong would NOT have lost his leg...Can't go to Wal-Mart and pick up a leg rayden...Plus he is OUT OF CONTROL when touches alcohol which is a disease which needs treatment...but he wouldn't need treatment if they wouldn't sell it so free.GOD BLESS the WONGS!!

@rayden0079 I feel U rayden...But it's the 20% that become belligerant that become court statistics or morgue statistics just like the cat with the white corvette that the Everett police killed a couple of months back because he was too drunk to drive...the bartender warned the gentleman he was too drunk to drive..they had to do their job for safety of public yet his FAM and friends feel the need to sue Everett for 15 Million? LMAO!!!! U don't agree alcohol should not be dispensed without a prescription? Alcohol is a drug CORRECT? Then why should alcohol have "special"status over all the other drugs? Alcohol according to Highway Patrol causes the most deaths on the road so why would U feel that I am getting my HATE on? Because I am stating the facts? Alcohol is dangerous even if U are not behind the wheel...Have U ever heard of alcohol toxicity? I will kill U!!!

DAMN!!!! Jason lost his leg and this cat only gets 30 months??? WTF? Should have been more like 10 yrs. And he never said he was sorry....They should ban ALL ALCOHOL!!! There is no need for it...except for pain-relief...YAH BLESS the WONGS!!!

I totally agree!!! IT'S NO ACCIDENT!!!! However I believe 20 yrs min if U get behind the wheel DRUNK!!! I think the alcohol limit should be raised to 0.16 anything past this should be considered DRUNK!!!

@theawesomemanman They typically give them the max if they show no remorse for their actions. Since he did, in fact, apologize for his actions, that grants him almost automatic leniency.

They do have rights but its their responsibility to learn them and exercise them. They had every right to say they wanted to stay silent but instead they started cussing at the cops so the cops started cussing back. They also had every right to ask for a lawyer and to refuse searches but instead they started fighting back and resisting arrests. Its completely clear that the first idiot was not allowing them to put handcuffs on.
