+Christie Valda- I think it's awesome you have the drive to get organized your room at eleven years old. Kudos to you for watching a video like this and starting to learn such a beneficial skill like organizing now, Christie. also u could have the bins be different colors instead of all hot pink. The color would stand out more instead of the dot stickers for children.

+sydney smiles- I agree, using different colors will help differentiate the containers for both child AND parent. :) My little one would find it really boring if they were all pink, too. She'd demand various colors, LOL. I do credit Alejandra for having some cool, creative ideas for teaching kids how to organize while still keeping it fun. My goodness, I wish every parent would understand that young people NEED organizing (and cleaning, and time management) skills taught to them, the earlier the better!

I myself save both my daughters art work and we use it as family time by helping them make their own scrapbooks. When they reach a new grade level/ new year we start a new scrapbook. I love it because just putting them together in the scrapbook allows us to spend family time while keeping them out in front of the television or bouncing of the walls by playing to wild. Another way we keep their art work is by cutting them up, then gluing the pieces to sturdy paper and then laminating them. The out come is then a fun handmade puzzle that they love to put together and take apart. Thanks to you I will also use these ideas to mail to family members who don't get to see them much! Thank you great ideas!

Thx so much. At the end of march hubby our four small children n i r driving frm nd to az. Visiting my family last march we went to pa. I gave the children backpacks but they would take everything out. Im trying to find a way for themnot to make a mess. N not to destroy everything.

Oh.  ;-)  It's a "Sterilite Supply Box".  I think they may have changed the dimensions a bit since I did this clip though.  Another good container similar to this (only a bit deeper) are those made for scrapbooking storage.  They are 12x12, but shaped flat like the one I show and can be found with hinged lids, handles, and clips to keep them closed.  Hope this helps! ~Bobbie
