For all the viewers wondering if this is in any way related to Jack London's story, the answer is: No. The people who dubbed it from the original Japanese language were just really stupid. This movie was made in Japan to be an adaption of the American children's book, "Flight of the White Wolf," in which the wolf is simply named "Grey" (a name kept intact in the original language of the movie.) But instead, the dubbing company decided that changing it to a more well-known title that it had nothing to do with would pull in more money... I guess.

I wish they would of kept the original name. It's kind of distracting when they keep calling the wolf White Fang when that clearly isn't who he is, haha.  At 4:48 you can see that the kennel says "Gray".

+Erick Falcon No, it was originally Japanese. It has a Finnish dub, though, and an old clip from that was the only thing available for the movie, online, for a long time. =)

not to be rude or anything, but you sound a little silly calling the boy dumb, when you used the word "cents"(1/100s of a dollar) instead of "sense", and the word "there" instead of "their."  not hatin' just statin'.  :)

Learn to read. It's a great story but not for the weak minded. If you read it you might learn some things about Natural Law. Instead of seeking to be spoon-fed entertainment, try to develop your own instincts and intellect and let novels like this inspire you to your own power.

The music to this film touches my heart deeply. This movie always reminds me of my childhood; it was my favorite movie when I was in kindergarten and up to 3rd grade or so. :*) Precious memories. This movie instilled a love of wolves in me that will always remain.
