Dear every woman who has ever demanded to be treated as an equal: Here you go. You want to be treated like a man? Then you face same CONSEQUENCES men do. A man throws a punch, he better be ready to TAKE one. Don't rage about double standards and inequality and then say "you can't do that to a woman." Your pick: keep your "protected" status as a woman ("men don't hit women") or you rage about every slight perceived gender inequality, and be ready to get knocked out if you throw a punch. Not both

Gotta say, I disagree with everyone. Although she took the uppercut like a man (think some men would've folded under that uppercut), he did it out of pure anger. He wasn't hurt or in danger like she was armed or anything. If some woman starts getting the better of you or overwhelming you then fair enough - but one punch? Nah...he could've just grabbed her and thrown her off the bus then locked the door. "if she wants to be a man..." if a woman lashes out at a man she's suddenly a man? Bullshit.

I agree it was an overreaction but if he was assaulted he does have the right to defend himself. Could he have handled it better? Probably. It goes without saying that he will get fired since that kind of conduct is probably prohibited while on the clock. But back to the question of whether or not she deserved it. Well no, but he didn't deserve that kind of abuse either. In the end it comes down to him defending himself after being assaulted. There really is no issue here.

Legally there is a limit to the amount of self-defence you are allowed to use. His reaction was clearly over the top. He had the option to restrain her and kick her off the bus without any serious fighting (and he would probably have help of the passengers considering how disgusting the woman was acting). What he did was hit her with all his strength with a hit that could in some cases even be fatal. That's not cool at all.

all these people saying u should never hit a woman. i agree i would never hit or condone hitting a woman but this was not a woman she stopped being a woman the second she got all bitchy and put her hands on him once that happened she went from a female to a really annoying PERSON who crossed a boundry. if some random chick ran up in your house (in this case its a bus) and starting hitting u and calling u out

Just encase someone tries to counter you with "woman are weaker though"..I'll counter that preemptively with "Then they shouldnt hit people." There are tons of men that are weaker than woman (such as myself, i know this as a fact lol) who know they cant resort to violence because they are weak. These men avoid violence as much as possible. If a woman feels she is weak, she should do the same.

Options like? - if she lands a halfhearted punch, his nose is broken. She hit him, obviously. You can see her retrieving her arm at 0:28. You are right. This is not debatable at all. The moment she threw that punch was the moment she gave him the blank check to beat the crap out of her. Stupid as hell. hope she learned her lesson.

I've been attacked by females many a time when out and about. The moment I hit back they either don't want any or get their friends to join in, and they get hit too. At some point, an onlooker or one of the bitches will ALWAYS use the line 'you shouldn't hit a woman!'

100% agree. I'll defend a lady no prob, but if a woman hits me she better be damn well prepared for the consequences. Sorry but you can't advocate gender equality and then demand a man or a woman gets special treatment for the same situation.

As a female, I think once you throw a swing - regardless of gender, the other person is damn well allowed to fight back. She started the fight, he finished it. What, was he supposed to continue taking a possible assault by her?

22 fucking years and probably never had an incident. until this no excuse for a lady came an fucked it all up for him. I wish he never hit her. but this might as well be a learning experience for her, and all. we must respect to get respect. I bet she will never do that again. and all the people on the bus are as guilty. wtf, recording and cheering it up, like always. you fucking fools... you all could off save the day, but nahhh, not until it was too late, (and luckily it wasn't a fatal blow.) every idiot on the bus creek out. you stupid no excuse for decent people,,, world star, world star!! that's all you know to do to record and upload to YouTube, instead of trying to help. fucking shame on you alllllllll!!!!!

it doesnt matter she's still a woman. if she did hit him it wasnt a serious hit. he is still a public servant so he should of held her til the police got there. what if it was ur sister or aunt or even cousin.
