Well, that does look good. I think you could have just put the nuts and stuff into a bowl instead of wasting a plastic bag (or having to wash it). Do you publish the recipe somewhere? Thank.

Hi DeDe, I made these this morning (April 21) to bring to a function in the afternoon. Yes, they did stay wonderfully crunchy and, oh my goodness, they were soooo delicious!!!! The people were going crazy over these little nuggets of crazy goodness. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.

you don't have to heat them up if you want to eat them, they are just served at room temperature. And yes they should stay crunchy, just make sure that you brown them enough when frying them :)

Oh my goodness, these look amazing! Will they still remain crunchy if you make these at home then eat them several hours later? They are to bring to a party.

Can you substitute nutmeg for the cinnamon and exactly what oil do you use? How hot must the oil be in celsius?
