Right, so let me get this straight Belfast.....
you demolished all of the genuinely historical buildings that had actual,
functional connections to Titanic, Olympic etc (many of these buildings of
which appear prominently in photos from the period).... in order to build
some cookie-cutter new builds of no real (except quick-buck making) value
whatsoever?
Surely there was enough space on that vast land for gleaming new apartment
and office blocks AND actual H&W history? As of 2015, The old Queen's
Island (AKA Titanic Quarter) still has tons of wasteland even with the
museum, college and new builds on.
