@NeDolM i really hit an aston martin once! I was driving my uncles 2010 gt500 shelby. around the Neighborhood where he lives it was 3am. I made the corner to fast and hit the aston that was park on the street! i took off put his car back in the garge. i told him he was mad for a while, we drove by and saw the owner outside talking to a cop, she was crying! lol, it was 18yr old girl, daddy fix it for her! i know cause he's friends with my uncle he never told him it was me!

@bigsteamfan most "rich" people don't have butlers.. i know more than one person with a ferrari or something similar, and they do in fact park in a regular parking lot, contrary to what t.v. leads your young brain to believe. there is a middle way, and its the way most people live.

Hmm... wonder why the in car camera films the person flying over the left of the windscreen and then on the outside shot they fly over the right?? Other things... in car shows the wheel locked to the right although outside shot shows wheel almost straight. Also from one shot to another they are going over the edge at completely different angles... what the?? Is this a scene from a movie??

@cubsfreak13 no your the dumbass the cars wheels will have no effect if the you lock them up but the car has to be going quite fast for that to happen as you can see in the video the car wasnt going fast enough for the wheels to lock up and even if they did the car would have stoped before it would have hit anything. dont call me a dumbass if you dont know what your talking about.

He wasn't even going fast enough to have been in a brake locked slide.(btw, the f50 doesn't have anti lock breaks?) The only way this could happen is if the front brakes are locked(preventing steering) and the back wheels are still driving the car forward by overpowering the brakes. Was he flooring the accelerator with his right foot and braking with his left at the same time?

it wasnt his fault he tried to steer the car away from the people but the steering colom failed and if u want to argue that he was braking and steering at the same time which meant that he would keep going in a straight line well u r retatded because he was not going fast enough to have that happen he was going rather slow so it wasnt his fault it was the cars.

@zabizum ... if you LOCK your brakes and try to steer, there is no directional change. you can brake and steer at the same time. Shit, race drivers do it ALOT. Any corner that requires deceleration, they are not out of the brakes fully before they turn.

@StatikTronik Ford GT and Dodge Viper are straight from the US. The Supra and Skyline are Japanese and both VERY capable of running down a Ferrari...Especially the new R35 GTR....Hell, I've seen a built CIVIC walk a Ferarri. Anything is possible.

The F50 didn't have a problem, the driver was unskilled. If your car starts to understeer, the LAST thing you want to do is wind more lock on, that just makes it worse. You back off of the steering input till the fronts regain traction.

@JujuG20t Very accurate observation. I think he does forget of the F50's absence of ABS as it seems as though he is waiting for it to kick it. Just a few simple bumps of the brake would've stopped it on a dime. I mean, it's a Ferrari.

If you pump the brake max, let go and THEN steer you can steer. By breaking you put enormous presure on the front tires which enable you to give grip back and steer out of the situation. Especially with big fat ferrari tires + brakes

@Carzub75 actualy this is a training cource if i see correctly there is wet surface so under normal sircumstances they deliberately switched of the abs to learn some techniques.. i have seen similar things with a wrc ford focus..

@dudequerky Hahaha you're a dumbass. If you lock up the wheels (F50 does not have ABS) at any speed, the steering will fail because the tires simply cannot gain any traction when turned to do any bit of good in steering the car.

if you look at the end of the clip you can see that, although the steering wheel is turned to the right the wheels are turned tio the left. So i don't think it's the old's man fault. The car had a problem.
