Hence why i said to start commenting on every singer on youtube who does covers with their own style added to them because in that definition every single one of them are wrong if they change the key, the pace, or anything at all for that matter in the song.

+Chris Beaudoin Drum cover is covering the song, which in turn does NOT mean adding your own "style" to the song. If it were called a drum REMIX, then yes, he could add his own flair to the song. He needs to either play the song the way it was played by the original drummer, or start titling his videos, "Drum Remix".
