What? First off, how can you know he won't be able to score in the NBA, and he can score from anywhere on the floor, yet Lopez will score but he is an unathletic C with limited range. They are both good picks, but please, name one high scoring unathletic C in the leauge. You can't pass up on Beasley's talent to get a C who is projected to be an average player. It's not like Lopez will become a franchise player, probably an above average reliable C, while Mike has a CHANCE to be an all time GREAT

All those players I compared him to had at least one Allstar on their team to help them, except Bosh who just got Jermaine Oneal to help, and Howard, who has Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkaglu (srry). All have a great guard to help get them the ball except Howard, and Sheed, Duncan, and KG have multiple allstars on their team. Brand's best supporting player is who? Maggette, or Kaman last year? Not even comparable. Brand next year could have a better statistical season than all the players I named.

How can you hate on Beasley and say they should have picked Lopez, and you like Carmelo. The two are really alike in my opinion, Beasley is a better rebounder, and tougher, and Carmelo is a great NBA superstar...Look at the 2003 draft, Detroit pick Milicic, a unathletic C over Melo, and lose what 4 eastern conference titles, and now they are trying to get Melo back. Beasely has way more upside then Lopez, and He will probably be better throught their careers. I like Lopez, he will be a solid C.

Elton is a short C, he can play the 5. He's 6'8'', and tough as hell, and Boozer is actually the same size. Brand is powerful and if we had him instead of Marion, and Him and Wade were both healthy, and Beasley turned out to be what he is thought to be, then we could have run at the title. If Marion had opted out we'd already have Brand, but he had to wait, so we may get him next year, or get Boozer next year, or keep Marion, their all 6'8", and I hope we have atleast one in the years to come.

Maggette is not and has never been an allstar, he is injury prone and Brands best year he only started 13 games. Kaman just had his first good year this year, and it is the first year he has ever averaged atleast 10 and 10. Those are some sorry comparisons to players like, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Chauncey Billups, or Rashard Lewis. Brand is a Franchise player, Boozer isn't in my opinion, Boozer has good games and bad ones, he's still really good. When pressure increases Brand elavates his game

Also I don't see how he can't shoot for shit, yet he shoots 38% from three, which means he has good range for his position, and can improve it. Beasley is probably one of the top 5 shooters in this draft, after OJ Mayo and Eric Gordon. LeBron can shoot, he just takes ALOT of stupid shots, and doesn't realize that he has to shoot within his own range. I mean your name implies you like Melo and Amare, yet you don't like Beasely, and think Lopez will be better, yet he is Amares complete opposite.

How is Brand not even close to Boozer? Boozer cannot carry a team like Brand has. Boozer has one of the top five point guards in the league to get him the ball anytime. Brand two years ago was 3rd in MVP voting and was the best PF in the whole league. and 1 year ago he was still good with no help. and last season he got hurt. Why would we get mcdyess? he's really old, and Brand is a better scorer, defender, stronger, more athletic, and has more range than Boozer. I would like either though.

Dude, you have your stats all mixed up. Brand was not at even 80% last year, he only played 8 games and started 6. I said that when Elton was healthy he was a top 5 big man, I'll compare their best years. Brand 24.7ppg 2.5bpg 10rpg 52.7% from the feild Boozer 21.1pp .5bpg 10.4rpg Boozer had 41 blocks last year, that sucks. Brand was playing close to Boozers level this year, and he was probably75%. A healthy Brand is probably a top 15 player in the NBA, he's better than Boozer when healthy.

Dude, if Brand can play like he used to he is one of the top 5 bigmen in the NBA, I think only Duncan, Howard, KG, and Yao are better, I may be forgetting someone, but out of those players only Yao and Howard would have better stats than him, and Yao probably wouldn't finish the season. Brand may never get back to what he was, but I deffinantly think it is possiable, I don't even think he's ever even had an allstar on his team has he? Boozer has had 2. Boozer is really good though.

If you want to say just big players in general I'd add Amare and MAYBE Chris Bosh. So that means that in my opinion he is the 5th or 6th best big man, and by others deffinition of bigmen he is between 6 and 8. Their is no way in hell you can name 15+ better bigmen than him when he is healthy, his stats last year still ranked him in the top twenty. He doesn't have great players like EVERY other player I named to take pressure off him.

Micheal Beasley is a beast. He can score in any kind of way and he has already proven to be a star. I think the bulls should draft Derrick Rose because the N.B.A. is becoming a guard game and the bulls need a point guard gecause hinrich isnt that great. Listen Michael Beasley is an insanely athletic, 3 point shooting, tough, strong, power forward, with excellent ball handling. Not only that but he averaged insane numbers in college, this guy is going to be a dominant 20-10 guy. If you think he sucks, you're either being biased or are simply a fucking fool. Michael Beasley has better abilities, this jumper dunkers like Rose at the end got scare. Lebron and kobe are a good example, when they see a player with good ability like wade defending them they get stock. Beasley and Wade will make good team.
