The Univeristy of the Highlands and Islands gained official approval on 1st February 2011. On Thursday 25th August 2011 a celebration of Scotland's new ...
I have a freshman attending La Salle University Pa, I have another
attending the Art Institute Pa (2nd year) and one who graduated 2011 with a
double major from Kean University NJ. La Salle is the only College who has
included the parents with emails for many occasions, just wishing our
families a happy holiday. This was just one great way to do it! I am proud
to be a parent of a La Salle student. La Salle University doesn't just
treat our children like family, they include the "families".
So far, it seems that all the comments are extremes of praise, or negative
trolling hate. I'd like to offer some thoughts in the middle ground. The
production quality of this video is phenomenal. Whoever created this
must've had a wonderful camera, and crew. The direction was nice, the
editing was smooth, and the cinematography was great. Not to mention the
peanuts homage at the end. I believe it is safe to say that is everyone's
favorite part.
But what is the point of the video? I understand it says to show the La
Salle Christmas spirit, but what does that really mean? If the intent of
this video is to get students excited about La Salle, or to try and make La
Salle more appealing to high school students, this is not gonna work. It's
very cliche and old school. And because you had to use La Salle
administrators, faculty, staff, etc....some of the script is delivered in
awkward way.
Explorer goes exploring... Looks like LaSalle is embracing social media.
Lots has changed through the years, but the spirit of caring and giving has
been a constant. Merry Christmas to all.
haha,,, my favorite parts were the security guard, the explorer trying to
wrap a gift, and the faculty dancing like charlie brown's gang :) cute and
funny,, thanks Brother McGinniss :)
This is a BOSS video. Whoever made it is a saint and should be born for
Christmas. Now all I want for Christmas is an Explorer of my own and a win
over Xavier. Explorers for life.
Trey your dance skills......impeccable...simply impeccable. the end had me
laughing pretty hard. so this is where Dr. Welsh went during class the one
day! haha
I liked it. It was a nice way for my Alma Mater to send Christmas
greetings. I think those people who were so rude in their response are
jerks. Do it again.
