what?! that soda machine was a pay machine along with the popcorn when i was there last - it was in the winter on a long cross country for the instrument rating. nice hefty landing fee there too if i remember...

@skat0r Fixed Base Operator, where pilots of general aviation (in other words, non-commercial, non-military) pilots and passengers can wait, rest and plan flights, and get basic maintenance done on their planes.

Landing in Albany, NY (KALB)

Landing in Albany, NY (KALB) on Delta flight 1930. Seated in 1A. MD-88 was the plane. Touched down around 5:15 pm. I must say, Albany is beautiful.

i remember seeing this cool video, and just thought I'd post an update. This airplane crashed and caught fire near Aurora Municipal airport (KARR). everyone is said to have survived but the plane is in at least two pieces and burned right down the middle.
