Todd Rundgren's Utopia - the classic album performed live in its entirety, start to finish.... Live in New York City - 2011 Track Listing (1) Utopia Theme (2) Freak ...
What a treat! Best drummer Utopia has had, I have just started trying to
track where he has been over the years? Thanks Todd and all the other band
members for making this reunion happen, the original album was certainly a
masterpiece!
Z-Ikon Feat. Dyce Payne "Stay On Da Move" Official Music Video" Directed By IMANTREK
I used to practice to this every night..
Thanks for the upload/download side load and the great memories this brings
back of my younger, hungry days to be a real musician..
I was like, nowhere near here and figured it was high time to tidy up my
loads and scripts and all kinds of shit I'll never learn how to or
understand here on the Tube...you see, here on the Tube I'm so small and
insignificant and the Tube is so completely the opposite and...anyway I've
been fully strung out for the last three months on pretty much all things
Rundgren and moreso Rundgrens Utopia; there's no end to the genius of this
album, especially the video parts. It's a fucking jungle in here and
I'm..I...I'll have to wrap this up at a later date on still another
page...Word!
+Lee Wilkerson It's even more strange trippin' over your own comments almost a year later with even loftier goals in mind. With absolutely zero originality and a zillion digital gurus who are more than happy to share a troublesome arrangement/tutorial-how to guru. I might as well make this page home-base since this is technically a conceptual transmutation of the late 20th century Library of-Analog Sciences, Forgeries, Philological Studies and Reconstructive-Nano Forensics, Bibliographic Annex and Librarian's National Cemetery: In memory of the brave men and women who lost their lives defending the Logos of Truth's progressive rock concept. And this is where the footnotes and forgeries become more useful, like the public domain, the queen bee, and their collective destinies. Sorry for the overkill--I probably could have just as easily replied to my own self, but modern technology has insane abundances of opportunity and prog rock is ripe for the Utopian media experiment. Peace!
Best prog rock album of all time. Light years ahead of any competition.
Plus Todd had the advantage over most prog in that he could write tunes &
oh yes had one of the greatest, beautiful voices EVER.
Me too, @zscheuch, just found it last spring and LOVE it. This clip is so
much better than another of the same (no offense rundgrenfan). I've been
looking for this song to share with friends and this blows me away. I think
if I had seen the performance live I would've floated right off the face of
the Earth.
I missed this Album along the way. I had all Todd's albums from Nazz to
@TRi. I've learned a lot just from this one song...Yes, God is Love. Thanks
for the post ...And thank you. Todd.
Biggest of Kudo s to John, Kasim. Jesse and the locomotive @ the drum kit,
