I think I am around 8.8 to 9.0 to 1, I would like to have 9.5 to 1.the 170
should be close. my recommendation would be stock bottom end with stock oil
pump and bearing clearences for street use. Clevite bearings, quality oil
pump, I use a melling , 4 main crank will work good as long as you don't
turbo or shoot it with nitrous. The clay smith 264/110 would give a lope
but might cause stalling with an auto trans without a higher stall
coverter, for more info check out the ford six forum.
Mechanically yes, The 200 will 0 to 60 a little quicker than a similar 64
equipped with the 260 v8. to sum up the mods, raised compression, offy tri
power, comp 260 cam , larger valves, electronic ignition, and clifford Dual
outlet header, not everything but this is basicly it. while this is not at
all a pin you in the seat street strip engine, it has been fun to play
with. for more info on what the little sixes can do check out. fordsix
forum and.classicinlines website
@corvettels9 I have not checked mileage since it is a weekend car. mileage
should be the same or slightly better as long as you are easy on the
throttle.according to the original road test data from several sources both
0 to 60 times and top speed are faster than the factory optioned v8 4 speed
for that year(260 v8).the six runs strong for its size but its not a hot
rod.If you want a hot rod go with a 302 or 331 stroker.
What would you say the compression ratio is? Do you think it would be ok to
put the same compression on a 170 (four bearing crank) that kind of
concerns me, even if I have arp bolts on the bottom with the best bearings
money can buy and bigger oil clearances for any movement... god forbid, it
just still bothers me thinking of the bottom end not being as strong as a
200 (7 bearing crank).
Thanks i had a 62 ford falcon futura when i was a kid found another one
just recently i also am keeping my six adding headers and a double barrel
but has original 2 speed ford o matic putting in a c4 not sure how the rear
is geard on my 62 do you know wear too look ?plus adding dui yours sounds
great man
@chsalabama111 Yeah....I wasn't actually going for a hotrod type thing....I
was thinking about like a '70 or a '71 Maverick with a 200, to build into a
daily driver with some power. I like the 200's because I'm looking for
reliability, and I heard these 7 bolt main 200's were indestructible.
@chsalabama111 I see. A couple more questions.....how's it on gas? after
you did all of your mods, did you notice an improvement in gas mileage, or
did it go down? Also, what does the 165 HP feel like.....as in do you think
it's enough for the car?
I have a couple of questions.....first off, the most important, what kind
of numbers are you running? Also, I've heard the aluminum cylinder head
from Classic Inlines gives these sixers 40+ horsepower from stock....is
that true?
Thanks, really even more than the upgrade in power, I'd love for mine to
sound like that, sounds absolutely beautiful. What mufflers and what size
pipe if you don't mind me asking?
hey there, im just wondering about the cam you've chosen. what is the lobe
centre on it? and did you have to use a high stall converter in the C4 or
was the stock one ok? cheers
I just cannot beleive how these engines sound so much like aV8.....compared
to a v6,is the firing order different..it that why they sound the way they
do?
@corvettels9 I am running around 165 hp maybe a little more. the CI head is
good for 40 hp with a potential for 200 plus hp with a mild cam and header.
In this video I unbox a brand new Sebo K3 Premium vacuum cleaner. Full demo will follow soon, so please subscribe and you'll be updated when I upload any ...
+Tony Bray As the Miele is not a sentient being, it would not have any idea that you have bought a Sebo. I have many brands that live together in harmony, so dust off the cobwebs from your wallet and give Sebo a go.
Hey ibaisaic.. Do you know the watts of a USA Sebo K3? I can't find it
online and Sebo does Not call ours an "Eco" so I'm wondering if US K3's are
still 1800 watt? Just curious to know. Also wondering why we can't buy the
beautiful new E3 canister? Thank you as always ibaisaic.. You're the
greatest!
+Jon McConnell According to the online instruction book and Amazon.com, it's 1250 watts. I expect the E3 will be launched in America later this year as I have a feeling the K series will be phased out.
I would like to say that I LOVE your videos. Secondly, who decides the
letter grades for the carpet and hardwood floor cleaning? I would think
Sebo wouldn't put out a product that is rated a C on hardwood floors. Also,
here in the United States we make hair dryers that are 2,000 watts so
interesting that a great product can be made at 700 watts.
+Keith McNally Unfortuanely the manufacturers do their own testing and some are more honest than others. The EU labeling scheme is flawed and doesn't really represent how a cleaner will perform in a real home. For example the carpet cleaning rating doesn't take into account removing pet hairs for example.
