I've been thinking of a similar design for all my screws and small fasteners. I'm going to make the drawer fronts from plexiglass so I can see what is inside. Another idea is to use the size screw or fastener as the drawer pull. Thanks for sharing your ideas...now I can steal a few.

Great project. I also love that it features and stores your past projects and future tools. I think it was a good choice not to put separators in the drawers, more trouble than benefit. Cheers.

I recently saw a dresser with a similar concept to this at hobby lobby. I think it was made for scrapbooking, so it had tons of small shallow drawers, mixed with various other size drawers. I'm going to have my husband help me diy something similar to what I saw, and this video was exactly what I needed to figure out how to construct what I'm looking for!

Also curious about the lens adapter. How did you mount it on the lathe and manage to do all the threading without hitting the chuck? Also, was it a problem to hold something as thin as this without crushing it but yet holding it tight enough to machine? Great videos! I'm learning a lot from your channel! Thanks.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Keith Preston To be honest, I did it so long ago that I don't remember how I held the workpiece. I probably bored it out first and then held it from the inside using the 3-jaw chuck. That would avoid the risk of crushing it, but care still would be needed to avoid distorting it out-of-round. I had to grind a special threading tool, about 1/16" across at the tip, to reach into the tight space. I turned the spindle using a hand-crank that I often use for close-tolerance threading work.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
Hi Frank on the lens camera adaptor I like to find out about more on them threads
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
very helpful ty for the information  will keep you on my list  ty again
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Frank Hoose After more checking, the thread pitch is .75 mm. The thread had a burr on it that was preventing it from threading in all the way.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Paul Cote I did some more research and it looks list .75 is the standard pitch for camera lens accessories is this diameter range.//www.2filter.com/prices/B+W_filters/bwregsizes.html
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
Hmmm...  Now that I'm checking it, I noticed that the thread does not screw into to the camera lens all the way, so that thread pitch may be incorrect.  I'll see if I can figure it out. The threads are so small and shallow that it's very difficult to use a thread pitch gage on them.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
I just checked it. Looks like the camera side is 46x.75 mm and the "filter" side is 49x.75 mm
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Frank Hoose  I mean what pitch  threads are they like0.75 mm? that what I meant to sorry
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Paul Cote I'll think about doing a video on that sometime in the future. At present, I have a backlog of other videos that I need to get done.

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Tom Granberg I may have just found the problem.  When include "mini-lathe.com" in the text of a mesage, Google changes it to a link, but the link doesn't work unless I include "//mini-lathe.com"
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Tom Granberg Hmmm... I'm not sure what the problem could be. I haven't changed anything for years other than adding new content.  It's mini-lathe.com

+RepEvox 1/8th Gas Monster trucks  have been around forever, brushless systems arnt improving, other than minor changes in cooling, and massive rebranding. Battery chemistry has changed since lipos have been mass produced, again other than rebranding. Kits never change, there all the same car, with different bodies, and inclusions of products like brushed motors. Tell me when a whole new car comes out from traxxas or hpi.
