well, just so you know.....I hate the KKK...but I am all for the southern
confederacy. Just for a little history lesson, the civil war wasn't fought
over slavery, It was fought over southern resources. See, In the late
1800's there was no "Industrial revolution". So the South was rich with
resources. The north....GOVERNMENT,,,,,,being broke...they wanted more
taxes...so we said HELL NO...see the slave trade was started by the dutch
and in the late 1800's the dutch as well as the southerners.

Literally the same propaganda you run into when surfing youtube you can run
into when searching for Civil War info centurys ago. Civil war enthusiast
paint a picture and leave out the bloody details. Every year here in
Jackson Mi they have one of those BS re enactments, I will open up a booth
next year with all the things they leave out in a flyer. They whitewash
history. you can google something and get pages of bullshit from GOP idiots
posting history as they see it, inaccurate as Fox news

@ktbigdaddy I see iot differently because I am the descendant of slaves,
and futhermore, there are documents proving that slavery was a big reason
for secession. Like I said before, there were people standing up and
admitting that they wanted to keep slavery, saying that it was too
important to the Southern economy to get rid of it. Nowadays few people
would admit this.

slavery was not the big issue. for gods sake. youtube is full of info on
this subject. then move off into other websites... and you need to be
careful what you say. as a black man my family fought for the south. so
what you know ain't all that its cracked up to be

@cbigclarke Well, I wouldn't have fought for the South. Just my view on it.
There were leaders standing up and openly admitting the reason they wanted
to secede was to keep and maintain slavery. It is in the Articles of
Secession.
