It is the tps i think as i unplugged it and it worked fine but idle was way to high Just checked price of tps and its neary £300

Strange idling

Having some strange idling when the car is moving. Check out this thread if you're having the same problems.

106 gti map sensor problem

the car was running badly i found the wires to the map sensor connector were broken and split i re-wired the wire to the map sensor plug and it was running fine ...
