Jim, thanks for the videos and very helpful tutorials! What Nexus tablet
are you using? I am considering moving away from my Galaxy S5 and would
much rather dedicate a tablet. I tried the Samsung Tab3. It works but the
screen is not bright enough and it does not fit in the P3P cradle. Thanks
again!
Amoled will always suck, go for IPS LCD. Also if you really don't want to use a iPhone or iPad. Only Nexus or HTC Devices are the way to go with Android, but you will never get iOS performance. Samsung will always slow doen after a few months, and has way to much bloatware.
+Edgar Tuliao I have multi chargers for my 1S and 2S Brushed toys. But never seen a Multicharger for DJI, Yuneec or Xiro. Also the batteries on those quads don't use normal JST or XT60 connectors, otherwise a B6 would be the way to go.
+Edgar Tuliao no you load one battery at the time, but you can simultaneously charge the transmitter. If you buy extra chargers, you could charge extra batteries obviously.
+Edgar Tuliao Yuneec service is good in Holland DJI Service is very bad worldwide. Most electronic shops here in Holland have the DJI, Yuneec and Xiro in stock. Some shops let you do a comparison flight. Go to such a shop, they probably have them in your country too, and compare them to each other.
Get a Xiro way more stable. The new Xplorer 2 and Xtreme look awesome if they both fly as good as the old Xplorer, DJI and Yuneec are certainly going to loose a lot of clients. Especially if professionals have to fly in high winds. Xplorer 2 is competition for the phantom 3 Professional, in the $1200,- price range, but with added obstacle avoidance. The extreme looks like an inspire but with way cooler price. If it has the same stability and wind resistance as the Xplorer, then I think the only people buying a inspire are the ones, that don't use internet to get their information, or love the bad customer service DJI provides to their customers. I will go for the Xplorer 2, when in April or June, when the reports on Rcgroups are as positive as they are now on the old Xplorer.
I'm very interested in the Professional model. Looking forward to see it go
head to head with the P3P. I'm ready to buy a good quad for the money but
with the interview with the CEO of DJI and people still reporting flyaways
from Phantoms scares me to consider a DJI product. Hopefully you can put
the Prodrone through its paces and see how it will hold up. Keep up the
great work Mr Bowers!
Jim, you referenced the Nexus tablet for viewing. Will the Google Nexus 7
II (July 2013) work? My problem is the glare off screens when viewing in
the shade & sun. A great video and thanks.
+Robert Cherry It will work. He was using it, I use it for my drone. It is perfectly fine. Hoping for the new model this summer to be as good as the last!
+aussietrevor WTF are you talking about!? The Standard clearly states on Acesdeals.biz website the price of $949 plus shipping. Right now, there only small deposits required to reserve one. The only 7000 that i see on their website is for the 7000mah lipo battery! (which is HALF PRICE ($79)...., so, PLEASE explain yourself!!!
