No helmet, shorts, short sleeve shirt, tennis shoes.....maybe instead of
filming this guy, you might want to sit him down and talk a little
motorcycle safety with him?
Witchdoctors - Victory Motorcycle Fork Seal Install Step 1.wmv
This is chapter 1 in our "How To" series on replacing front fork seals on a Victory Hammer or Kingpin motorcycle. It shows how to remove the forks from the bike ...
Do yourself a favour and loosen the top fork cap while it is still clamped
in the triple tree. Also, when putting it back together don't tighten the
triple tree pinch clamps very tight. You'll be twisting them to get the
axle back in. When everything is lined up then to your torquing.
My vic looks nothing like this. There is a dampener and plastic crap and
upper spring and shaft. I have it apart and need to put it back together. I
reversed order exact. Something ain't right
okey, we're talking cruisers here, if you're looking for comfortable ride
and just want to cruise, then who gives a crap about all out performance,
if that was your main concern you would buy a sport bike or sport touring
bike. It's about the look and feel of the bike. The Raider offers the
single pin crank, air cooled firing order of a Harley which everyone likes
the sound of a v-twin Harley, Yamaha is the only one that has that sound
out of a bike that will last and perform good, Warrior or Raider. If you
want performance and comfortable cruising kind of bike buy a Kawasaki
Concours 14 which would waste either one of these bikes in acceleration and
handling. Remember, these are cruisers, not sport bikes.
+mark porter Here is where you fucked up. The Yamaha Raider straight out of the box and off the floor, will shit on any other Jap or US cruiser straight out of the box and off the floor, period. Furthermore, most any sport/touring bike as well. Who the fuck doesnt want performance? Secondly, Kawasaki has nothing to offer to the equation. I will say, the KX250 and KX450 are two of the best , if not the best dirtbikes out there. But please dont compare Kawi cruisers to Yami cruisers. Unless you are talking sport bike, then very legit, and my money on Kawi. Yamaha owns the Jap cruiser scene in class and performance. HD wins in class, but falls in performance. There, feel better? I do.
