It will keep sludge out of your manifolds and basically allow your car to run much, much better. If you still require an emissions test, it will most likely not pass. It is illegal to do this although I have no idea how you would get caught.

@oxycotton75 I bet it runs better than ever and atleast now you wont have to worry about it getting clogged up over time and restricting air flow

I wish they would put in a self cleaning filtered muffler instead of the EGR. Dont they meet government standards?

@ForneyRider The exaust that is recirculated is full of soot, which clogs the inside of the intake manifold.

Sorry man, the whole project stalled. I got into the Y bridge and then ran out of time. I haven't gotten to it yet. I don't really have any plans on doing it for a while. Just know you will have to pull the hard fuel lines to get the Y bridge out.

You actually won't have to worry about codes just install the deletes and the check engine light will not come on.

I actually never prevented it. The valve is not really monitored inside by the computer. Te only real thing that is monitored is the exhaust leaving, and that's what triggers the valve. In other words the signals are still there and there is no need for prevention.

I love when I get the keys to one of those trucks, They run good on the highway! Whats the ABS light? The wheel hubs fail alot in the front and cause the ABS to trigger, If its not that the ABS module goes, Its like $300 I think

Haven't looked into the ABS light yet. You are right about the hubs, GM can't make a hub to save their life--they always went out on the TBSS too. Need to sort out the injectors first before I burn a hole in a piston!
