Well said. It is extremely frustrating to argue with someone who continuously tries to label you as a communist/socialist (personal experience). Glen Beck even went so far as to say that Chris Savvinidis was preaching to end capitalism. I'm not sure where the disconnect is with these people.

+Gershom Zajicek M.D, It is my understanding that an oncogenic provirus would not need any machinery other than its own genetic information which is already integrated within the host DNA in order for the viral oncogenes to be expressed.Virus would not need to shuffle any genes, since it is already part of the host genome?All that would be required for expression is some type of damage or inhibiting factors to the suppressor genes.In this way, cancer would not be the cells response mechanism, but rather the viral oncogene being expressed as a mutated cell - cell proliferation (propagation of virus). I appreciate your comments.

Virus lacks the machinery to shuffle genes.b.  I suggest to correct your summary asfollows.1. Provirus is latent in human genome. 2. Changes in environment or compromised immune system are stress that activates latent provirus or allows retrovirus into cell.  .3. Stress triggers virus to hijack genome in order to produce  viruses. You don't see lysis since  inflammation removes destroyed cells. All that activated virus does is destroying. cells. Cells which escape virus destruction respond  to cell lysis by shuffling their DNA (mutation). The entire process is tightly control . The view that cell replication is uncontrolled is false. c. Anaplasia like gene shuffle is the response of cells which escaped virus destruction.

In cancer cells we do not see lysis occurring, instead of destroying the cell (lysis) the newly activated or acquired virus hijacks the cell and alters DNA to cause uncontrolled cell replication, thereby propagating itself without lysis. Almost like an altered form of lysogeny because the cell is still intact?So then, could we say that due to the toxins/inflammation which is killing the lysogenic cells, anaplasia is the viruses survival mechanism?

+Jack Waterford The aim of a virus is to enter a cell, hijack some of its genes in order to propagate itself, which kills the cell (lysis). There are two kinds of virus, exogenous (E-virus) which you currently breath in, and endogenous (P-virus) which hide in the genome as proviruses (lysogeny). It all depends onthe organism's integrity. Generally immune system  protects against E-virus. Yet when immunity is impeded E-virus causes inflammation (flu). In patients carrying transplanted organs therapeutic poisons shut off  immune system, and E-viruses may cause lymphoma.Most cancers are caused by P-viruses. In the previous example, therapeuticpoisons may activate  P-viruses. They become E-viruses, entering cells and causing lymphoma. Asbestos is a poison which initiates a chronic inflammation, inviting E-viruses in or activating P-viruses which cause mesothelioma.  I describe this mechanism in presentations "Smoking does not cause cancer", "Human symbiosis with viruses". The same applies to radioactive iodine. Radiation destroys cells, initiates an inflammation and opens the door for thyroid tropic viruses.

Tumor is composed of tissue units. Each is nourished by one stem cell so that all cells in the unit are its progeny. Cells move from unit interior to its periphery, differentiating as they go. At unit periphery they die. Tumor is formed when a stem cell is transformed into a malignant. Initially the tumor unit is indistinguishable from normal units. Gradually the most differentiated cells of the tumor unit die, which is called maturation arrest. At this stage it is possible to distinguish between normal and tumor units. With time, more and more differentiated cells die, and the unit is composed of  immature cells which divide rapidly and form a tumor or a lump of cells. In short when I spot a tissue unit whose cells stop differentiating, I know that they belong to a tumor. By the way this process which I described may last several years.
