+ellimist6 True unfortunately there aren´t many studies or trials on this
subject. But there has been a small study that showed some promise for at
least a few people suffering from tourrette. According to the study, in
around 20% of people with different types of tourrette, there was 1 type in
which cannabis seemed to work and very good to. In a bit more then 80% of
those 20%, cannabis either significantly improved the tics or made them
disseapear completely. This means that for around 15% of all people
suffering(in total including all different froms of tourrette) from
tourrette, cannabis definitely has a strong and positive effect.
However the study showed that cannabis only works with certain types of
tourrette, and it also showed that for a few unlucky people cannabis had no
effect at all even if they had the specified type of tourrette. Also keep
in mind that this study has only been done on a small group of about 20
people in total.
We definitely need more studies with more people and more different types
of tourrette to find out more.
However this study has clearly shown 1 thing: There are certain types of
tourrette and people in which cannabis has a *definite and strong effect*
that is superior to any other drug that exists for tourrette.
Until we know more, all the people suffering from tourrette can do is try
cannabis and see if it helps in your case. And of course fight for the
legilization and use as medicine.

Dude!!! you are freaking awesome my friend i have tourette syndrome if you
cheque out my videos you will see that my head goes crazy. i have been
trough all the tics and you can possibly imagine and have ocd. i have to
take 4 pills in the morning and one at night because if i don't take them
im gonna rage at everyone and im always fighting or punching something i
even make does sounds with my mouth it sound like im swallowing but im not
and i cant fucking control does annoying tics i hate it i go for a job
interview and they laugh at me one guy at school was imitating me one day
and that day i dint took my 4 pills before going to school the guys was
full of blood and i got suspended from school for a week and that guy was
my friend the only thing i can do to calm me down i smoke some weed i talk
to my doctor about giving me medical weed so im legal and i don't have to
pay for it but he says that im full of shit and weed dosent help with
tourettes but hey who give a fuck about what the doctor says i don't care i
will continue to smoke my weed! I hope they legalize weed! awesome videos

It seems like not many neurologist have knowledge of TS unless you go to
special centers and what not with people who have done lots of study in the
field. I am glad I helped got you to talk about your TS. I was hoping top
help get more people to talk about their TS and if they use cannabis to
help.There arnt enough in depth studies and evidence for the us of TS and
cannabis and with more people coming out about it scientist and what not
will have no choice but to do more studies on it.

hahaha you mentioned me near the end, made the first comment before
watching the whole video. I pronounce the name as el-uh-mist. tho it doesnt
really matter how it is pronounced. One day cannabis will be legal world
wide and no one will have to suffer from illnesses and disorders treatable
with cannabis.One nation already made it legal and that will just encourage
others to do the same.

Its great to finally talk to you man!! You helped encourage me to talk
about my TS. Even though I live in a country with medical Cannabis, Im
still fighting to access because not enough neurologists in my area have
knowledge on TS but I wont give up :)

hi, i have tourettes and just started to pick up weed last week it has
helped so much the tics have nearly gone away just my two cents

you should try cannabis oil, cannabutter or some other form of edible. It
takes longer to kick in but has a longer lasting effect.
