Jetta's are nice, but expensive to own. Passats are nice but VERY expensive
to own. My buddy has sunk thousands of dollars in repairs in his TDI. Every
week it's being towed. But the doors are strong. My 2005 Civic has almost
200K miles and I haven't needed to change a light bulb yet, try that with
your VW. I never needed to jump like a monkey on my door, don't understand
why the VW engines can't be built as tough as the doors.
lol-They taught me to do this when I sold VWs. It was funny to see the
customer's reaction-they would buy, but they wouldn't buy the one we
demonstrated. We NEVER had anyone with a door problem. But, who cares...
No shit nothing happened... all you're doing is getting the car dirty, and
potentially damaging some interior trim and the paint. You can do that with
pretty much any car in production today.
