How to do stocks Videos

Hello I have a question about how stock prices (shares) increase and or decrease. Let's say I plan to start a company yet have no money so I sell 10 shares for $10 each. Assuming all are sold I have $100, which I use to create my company. (So the company is worth $100?) Then let's say my company is successful and I make $200. (Now the company is worth $200?) Here's where I get confused. From my understanding their are 2 outcomes. 1. The share prices double from $10 a share to $20 a share. Thus anyone who sells the stock makes a profit. But if all of my shareholders sell there stock, and I lose my $200, thus no profit and I'm broke??? 2. The share prices stay at $10 and I make a profit and possibly the shareholders if I add a dividend (which can't be anything too substantial). My profit is $100 yet the shareholders is close to none so the share prices don't increase??? Please correct my example as needed and tell me what I'm misunderstanding. Thanks for your time guys!!

So is a stock as simple as just buying the stock and then holding it until your ready to sell?? Or do u have to pay monthly fees??

you can also buy from a bank, but the best and cheapest alternative is to get a reliable regulated stock broker, such as interactive brokers, then you also get a software so you can monitor the prices

Good analogy. I understand the concept of resistance with the cotton balls stopping the balls from rolling past. But what do the cotton balls represent in real life? Previous price levels? Other people's stop or limit orders? And how do you work out this path of least resistance? Using candles or some other charting techniques?

Very good! I'm new at this. My brain tends to have "resistance" to learning new things. I am an old dog learning new trick so to speak. When you simplify thing like this you are helping many people who will help others. Thank you Sasha! Soon because of your help and the time I have spent learning I will have enough to buy your teachings. A man named Vernon McGee said years ago,"put the cookie jar down where the babies can reach them". He was referring to the ability to teach. You have that ability and I think it is fabulous!

If I'm going to risk 100% of my money on an unpredictable market, I want at least 100% or more return on my investment. 70% isn't a great deal

This is like gambling. Very high risk. It's not a good way to make money online.
