Thank you for this video. I am taking a technology class, and I am required to do a presentation. My Microsoft templates/word, etc. have been wiped from the computer since my last crash and factory reset. So, I needed a tutorial to help me with Open Office. I appreciate this step-by-step video that helped me complete my presentation.

how you center the box(the actual power point) because if you do the slide show that opens and cover the whole screen is going to be to your right side and you only can see half of the slide

Hi, I have about 131 lines to show in the text book. I find that I cant not set the duration longer than 59 second. So when the time exceeds 59 seconds, the rest of the text doesn't show on the screen. Is there anything I can deal with it? [email protected] Cheers,Jing

Hi +Jing Yuan Wang,I think what you are trying to do is beyond the capacity of PowerPoint - you might be better off using animation like Flash.You could consider using two or more slides and have the second slide start immediately after the first.Dr E.

Hi Bob,Wow - that's a lot of names!I think this is more than my simple method can handle. You may to use a normal animation package like Flash.Dr E.

Creating a Pecha Kucha Presentation Using PowerPoint

As a reference I'm working on a Mac running PowerPoint 2008. It is my understanding that when you save a PPT as a movie embedded audio and audio narration will not play. The only way to make this work is to record the audio narration in another program (ex. Audacity) then add it to the movie when saving. File > Save As Movie > Movie Options > Background Soundtrack. Under Transitions choose "Follow Slideshow Settings" to maintain the 20 sec advance. It's awkward but it works for me -- Mendi

How do you convert a presentation with narration to a movie file. I tried to do it, but the audio is missing. The 20 second slides go alright, but the audio is missing. Help?
