No - certainly not. It seems they bought a load of junk guitars from shops like NRG and said they were to smash up. However what they were actually doing is taking the lower grade buys, reprinting decals and internal labels as MARTIN and then pawning them as they toured around the USA. Finally someone got wise and reported them and it blew the whole scam out of the water. Good thing too. I can only imagine that NRG had no idea what might become of the guitars you see in the video. :o) NOW THEY DO!! :o(

The chinese ones are incredible.. Not the crappy lower end replicas for $100 but the decent ones for about $400 sound better than 99% of the real guitars ive played.. Genuinely to play look at and the sound WOW..
