Yes normally I run a ford starter solenoid mounted inside. And run a jumper on the starter. So I don't have a live battery cable running threw the firewall. But I went basic on this build.

Gotta love them Buick 350s with the distributor all the way up front. What about a jumper wire on the starter so you don't hafta run the extra starter wire?
