It's so nice!We did not have the proper set up for the Icelandics. And we didn't find it necessary to invest into electric netting for them when we had so many other things we could use $300 on. They Icies needed space to roam, and they could clear an 8 ft fence (or higher) like it was nothing. So they really need electrified netting. They are also fairly flighty, and so, that just wasn't the breed for us. But they are GREAT birds. I highly recommend them to people who have the proper set up!!Our breeding stock came directly from Harvey Ussery, who wrote the Icie article for Mother Earth News, which made Icies an instant hollywood chicken breed ha ha.
