This was popular on the radio when my brother Cory died. He was 22. I was 17. When I hear it, I think of Cory and how it felt to lose him. How he had no clue when he woke up that fateful day in 1976, that it was to be his last. I know wherever he is, he knows how much we really miss him.

+EmpressOfWyoming58 I'm so sorry that Cory had to go too soon.. I remember this song.. I was your age at this time... I'm sorry you had to lose your brother.. I lost my big brother Paul   in 2004.. I do  know how it feels.. trust me, sometimes it feelsl like it happened yesterday... then I wake up one morning and I realize it has been years... talk to the Lord and ask that He will relay how much youI love and miss him.. Hang in there friend,, talk to the Lord and you will find comfort in knowing your brother is alive and well in heaven and if you know the Lord personaly, you will see him again someday

We got our family dog, Bootsie, when I was six and we had her for 12 years. She was very afraid of thunderstorms and lightning, and one night during a storm she jumped the fence and ran away. I had to go to work the next morning, but my mom said she would look for her during the day. I left for work and about 1 mile away I saw a dead dog in the road. It was Bootsie and all I could do was drag her body off the road.
