I love it man maybe because it's my 1st car but it's so much fun to drive I spend a lot of money on gas tho and I don't like that the car doesn't have a button to unlock the passenger door while your in it
+Davide Campanello Yeah, I'm PRETTY sure he doesn't care that an immature wank from youtube like you won't buy a car from him lol
2012 BMW X1: 4 Guys In A Car Review
Does the downsized SUV from Germany make any sense? It's going to be sold in the U.S. next year (and receive a few changes in the process) but largely, will ...
It is funny how Americans make cars review and don't even mention any
numbers about the cars performance. Comparing Honda to BMW? ix35? No wonder
Detroit bankrupted since you guys keep buying Asian stuff without any
understanding what really matters in the car You laugh at VW and you go on
and buy Honda? -___- Seriously?. TDI engines from VW deliver so much power
with such a low fuel consumption. With my golf 4, 13 YEARS AGO and AC off,
I had 2.9l /100km and 115 horse power. Now I have Audi A4.
The real question is...why do you guys allow this obvious price
discrimination to go on?? Remember, you CAN specifically require pricing
parity with the U.S. There IS international precedence in banning price
gouging. You guys, being automotive journalists, should come together and
form a movement to end the price gouging. I mean why does a Mustang GT cost
$4K more in Niagara Falls than in Buffalo? "4 Guys In a Car" needs to
combat this unfairness for all Canadians.
Cool car/SUV. The base price as of now in the states, however, is in the
low the 30's. The lowest model is not a xdrive, it's a 2 wheel drive. I
don't know if Canada has this but here in the states they are releasing
this car with a M sports package option. This option makes the interior
look flawless and also includes a exterior trim upgrades. I like this
vehicle in xDrive, it's good for all sorts of terrain.
ive been serious looking at purchasing this vehicle and the main thing that
draws me in is that you can get a fairly loaded x1 with the 3.0 turbo
engine (0-60 in 5.1 secs) for around the same price as a BASE 328i xdrive
sport line. ill have to see the interior/exterior in person but its very
appealing to get that engine for around 40K US with loads of std features
(xenons, power seats, moonroof, etc)
After car shopping for an absurd amount of time we finally purchased the
BMW. The Acura drives like a SUV, the BMW drives just like a car. Also, the
RDX interior had rather flimsy fake wood plastic pieces. We felt the RDX
was the family truckster and the BMW is the rally fun pack. And if you get
the reference you're as old as me.
Ok I'm sorry but these guys have no idea what they are talking about lol
the base price for this car is 30,000 not 40,000 I mean come on you
guys?!?!?! Rule number one for car reviews get the sticker price right lol
so almost fully loaded this car would cost you about 40,000 wow can't
believe they got that wrong
I have driven with my door open many times: Ever get a car wash and wanna
see how you are in relation to the track? Moving a few feet parking tight
in a driveway, while communicating with others- I also have the door open.
Lots of times kinda annoying to be honest, but wouldn't be a deal breaker.
In Canada, where we are, base price is $36,999 plus a $2000 destination
charge (...which is close enough to 40k to say 40k.) In the US, where you
are, base price is $30,000. I mean come on! Rule number one for commenting
is to see where the videos are being made lol. ;)
Good review, but it would have been nice to hear about the comfort level of
the two men in the back. It looked like their knees were pretty tight
against the seat in front of them. Any owners that can comment on Full size
(6ft male) adult back seat comfort?
You guys made no mention of the regenerative brakes on this car? I thought
that was a neat feature and it makes me wonder if you guys knew about
this.... because this is somewhat comparable to a lexus RX450h. SUV hybrids
are going to be big in the future.
VW has more problems in their power-train than BMW, not to mention VW is
known to have a lot of electrical issues with their wiring. VW is priced a
lot cheaper than BMW but you get for what you pay for.
+ThatGirlAshli I'm hoping by the end of the year. I've got the new 7 Series coming before that. Until then, you can check out this quick primer vid I recently produced on the 2016 X1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmiTVsH_gbs
BMW X1 test / review + off-road (English subtitles)
Am testat X1, cel mai mic SUV din curtea bavarezilor de la BMW, în varianta xDrive20d cu motor diesel de 2,0 litri (184 CP, 380 Nm), cutie automată cu opt trepte ...
//newcarnet.tv The X1 is BMW's latest addition to its range of SUVs. But at only 4 inches shorter than an X3, you may wonder -- what's the point? We set out ...
A question nobody's asked? I see your point, but it's not the first time
BMW's answered such a question only to find that, actually, people where
eager to listen: It's considerably cheaper than an X3 while not much more
expensive than a Series 1, considering the extra room and SUV capabilities,
I find it a very attractive option for those longing to own a premium brand
SUV whilst keeping costs (as far as you can go in this department with a
BMW, of course) and size at bay, IMHO. Nice review BTW!
You're right. Not the first time – and it won't be the last. At the time of
our review, the physical difference between the X1 and X3 was very small,
but the new X3 properly bridges the gap to the X5. Thanks for the positive
feedback.
Possible but unlikely in the foreseeable future as the X3 is still a very
strong seller. Thanks for the comment. Hit the subscribe button for more

Not sure of the track name but we license it from AKM Music. Maybe they can
help. Thanks for the comment. Hit the subscribe button for more video news

Dude, I guess you will like this video, it's about a new concept for
knowing about cars, it calls The Virtual Garage. Hope you like it!
/watch?v=EMef7OT5VXE&feature=plcp
What's with the obsession with height? The X3 is 183" long and 74.1" wide.
The X1 is 176.5" long and 70.8" wide. That's a big, important difference in
both dimensions.
Dumb American. Expecting 2012 features to be on a 2006 car. It's confusing
because you have no idea what you're doing.
'I wish it had power seats' .... ERM`... You're in the BASE model. If you
want all your lazy American conveniences, go buy a cadillac. This is German
engineering, the best in the world.
I want this car for my first car! I'm not very educated on cars, other than
miles and titles. Good pick or no? I'd be buying it with 90k miles for
$10.500
Stay away from BMW and German cars if you know nothing about cars... These cars are for enthusiasts. Unless you're willing to dedicate and learn, you're just going to trash up the car.
Its kinda sad that you're laughing at the 3series being an entry class and
the ego of these bimmer owners. But if you're laughing at these owners just
because they're only capable of getting an entry class BMW, then you might
want to reconsider. Anyone capable of affording a BMW 325coupe in Singapore
could afford a Maserati GTS in US. Anyway to cut it short I just find this
comment kinda offensive if you're laughing at financial ability to own a
car/entry level cause it differs in every country
@AmericanCarsSuck1 If you still have feelings for the VW brand then go for
a passat or CC ($28k-$40k). Both much larger than the BMW 328/335 & Merc
C-class for around the same price... Or oust for the Audi A3/A4
($27k-$34).. But take note, If you buy an Audi you're just buying for the
name and outside look because underneath it is just a Volkswagen since Audi
is VW's luxury division... Volvo S40 ($29k-$34k) Japanese: Lexus IS250
($32k-$38k) Acura TSX ($29k-38k) Infiniti G series ($33k-$39k)
There's really only 3 luxury brands worth considering: BMW, Mercedes Benz,
and Lexus. Lexus is reliable and you get the most for your money, but it's
dull and not exciting to drive. Mercs have the best exterior and interior,
and the best badge, but are underpowered compared to BMWs and extremely
unreliable. BMW gives you the best performance, and have decent reliability
(though not as good as a Lexus). BMWs offer the best combination of
performance and reliability, which is why I have one.
P.S Since your name is AmericanCarsSuck i'm not even going to suggest
lincoln, mercury, buick, or Cadillac... I'd seriously consider buying
either a VW CC/Passat, BMW 3 Series, or Volvo S40 because they have the
best free scheduled maintenance warranty... I drive a 2009 VW CC 2.0T and
it's the best bang for your buck. When i'm going 70mph on the highway, you
hardly feel it and step on the accelerator, everyone around you seems as
though they are standing still..
The Australian dollar is worth 92.2 US cents, so it isn't a big difference.
$35,000 USD is about $38,000 AUD so that still doesn't explain the huge
price difference. And yes, our smaller economy and non-luxury vehicles are
priced from about $15,000 - $30,000 while the 3 series 323i coupe is over
$70,000 which is a lower model than the one in the video. The 328i is well
over $90,000. You would be amazed at how many people here buy them though.
uh...what year are you talking about? the 2012 is 5.7 and the 335i is
5.3...and what year is that beamer in the review? certainly isnt the 3 from
2012..cause the 3 in 2012 has the front head lamps touching the kidney
grilles as part of the facelft..the 2013 versions get another facelift and
it looks slightly better in my humble abraded opinion..kidney grills are
flyin solo dolo in that new facelift. looks rather good.
BMW -Big Money Wasted, the most Rubbish quality car ever made on planet
earth with tons of continuous problems coming one after another due to so
much crap electrics and electronics used, very crap suspension, cheap
plastics and rubber used everywhere, there always error light on !!!! BMW
CRAP-RUBBISH!!!! Look at JD Power IQS release of course if u know what is
that
@AmericanCarsSuck1 I just came back from a roadtrip to Los Angeles, and on
the freeway i found a Merc CLS ($72,400 - $97,950) and i pulled up
sidebyside, looked almost identical except his cost twice as much as a CC.
Whatever you choose AmericanCarsSuck1 hope you make a good choice and not
be regretful. Happy Motoring!
@IrishChris1979 car and driver always lies about their 0 to 60 times...
they do it for practically all cars.. they are payed by bmw to always side
with it... they even said that the bmw m3 (great car by no doubt) is better
than a porsche turbo AND nissan gtr... which is not true, although i do
love the m3..
Yea I think you are 100% right about that. Our government are money hungry
scammers. They tax us like crazy. I think that would explain the high
prices, and they're getting away with it too. BMW, Mercedes and Audis are
everywhere here. Funny how all the Australian made cars are dirt cheap.
I test drive a 328i coupe. Thought the gas pedal was very stiff. Made the
car feel very underpowered. I'm used to very light touch honda gas. Was
there something wrong with the car I was driving? Or, is the gas just that
stiff? I rejected the 328i because of this.
@ThousanWhite I have a road test right in front of me saying the 2009 328i
Sport (6spd) manual did 0-60 in 5.9 0-100 in 16.1 0-120 in 24.9 1/4 Mile in
14.6 @ 96 mph Top Speed = 148 mph (Gov. Ltd) *From Car & Driver Magazine
June 2009 edition.
@SLRmurakami Congratulations... you have just compared the flagship sedan,
the most luxurious model in Mercedes-Benz's lineup, with a luxury coupe
that often costs about $60,000 less. You have achieved absolutely nothing.
@katracho941 Actually, although he used the incorrect form of "Its", and
then proceeded to call someone an idiot, he is correct on his point. Beemer
refers to BMW Motorcycles, and Bimmer refers to BMW automobiles.
Why is it $35,000?? Pricey? Is he kidding? Here in Australia the base 323i
coupe starts at $70,000, the 335i being over $100,000. An Accord is $35,000
here. You Americans don't know how damn lucky you all are.
I have the cash to buy 2008 328i coupe or 2008 accord coupe v6...i dont
know. reliability accord, sexy looks bmw...but the accord looks amazing
aswell...your buying the name bmw. i dont know im confused.
lol all these arguments would have been avoided if i knew you where from
Europe haha, by the way has the Infiniti line up been introduced to all of
Europe yet? Do you see those cars where you live?
@ndlsumr That is not there strong suit so its not even worth mentioning,
they build beautiful sport cars, but the word "reliability" is never used
in the same sentence with the word BMW.
The Subaru Legacy (called the Liberty here) starts at 34k. Honda Fit (Honda
Jazz here) seems to be priced right at 16k while the 3 series sedan starts
at 60k and 70k for the coupe.
41000 dollars!! That's like £25000, U guys are so lucky, a 335i in the UK
will set you back in excess of £35,000. Oh btw the Infiniti looks like cow
dung next to this, literally.
audi sucks its just an overpriced volkswagen, acura sucks its just an
overpriced honda.. mercedes = overpriced chrysler , lexus = overpriced
toyota... bmw best luxury car
depends what type of measuring unit you're using.... horspower.. or brake
horsepower... one says it develops 306 one says it only develops 300.... or
something like that
Any one would like to share whether the car is reliable or too expensive to
maintain? I am thinking of getting a 3 series used, but not sure of the
reliability factor.
u misunderstood i said tell me which bmw is copying the rolls royces? cuz
weather they own them or not they do no make them with the same engines or
the same styling
@kentau123 You definitely have a problem... Why bother about BMW if they're
so problematic to you? Get a life, moron. No need to spam and waste your
time.
