Big mistake not taking odds?? Its just as big of a mistake making a
contract bet by betting the Pass Line in the first place. Now the Don't
Pass Line = Not a big mistake also its not a contract bet but you are an
idiot if you make it past the come out and remove the bet. That 1 long roll
you make money on doesn't even compare to the 100 times point then a quick
7 out. If you want to play the right side, place your numbers. You get to
pick and you can turn them off any time you want.
blue dice?!?!? Awesome!!! The other vid has the point as 10, and then you
7'd out. Then you rolled a 4 on the come out, followed by a 9, 6 (hard
way), 3 and 5 if I recall correclty. not a bad roll on the first video.
This one it appears to be a 7 (fronline winner), 9 to make the point, and
then 5.
@icecold40oz true.. but i've played craps w/o odds because i was low on
cash and thank God I did, because I came back up with the money i would
have loss if I put odds initially. I made my money back and began putting
odds, then BLAM! broke even and I left before I lose it again. ha.
So youre telling me that a 6 or 8 will hit 5:6!! AMAZING!! True odds like I
just fucking said. Its the only bet the house doesnt have an advantage on.
If you dont take max odds youre an idiot. Go play slots..
taking "full odds" is not always best bet, once you go beyond 3x your pass
line bet, there is a significant decrease in percent return. I do back up
my pass line bet, but not beyond 3x.
Visited Wendover recently, and had a chance to catch a little craps action at the Rainbow Casino. Only two players were playing, and since there wasn't a dealer ...
it's horrendous how they served him a 7 before he sevened out - 52 is not a
good number to be given from a dealer in that situation :(
Thanks for sharing!
+Dale D Actually, it's a "6" that he's served. One of the pips of the 5 looks like a pip for a 2. But if you stop the video and look at it closely, you'll see that he was served a 51.
+J PumpkinKing a good dealer will buy the bet for you if the payout is bigger. An example is if you place 4 for 20 vs buy 4 for 20, the payout on the place bet will be 36 but on the buy bet will be 40 minus the vig of a dollar so 39. Since the math is tricky, a good dealer should do this for you :) It also doesn't hurt that I usually make a pass line bets plus odds here and there.
+Ray Haynes Would you suggest playing "Don't Pass" AND place bets? Because I usually play "Pass", with Place bets, and the Field. (Iron Cross)BTW, I don't like "Buy" bets. The math gets too complicated.
I wouldn't ever play craps in any place I couldn't set the dice , even
being a Wrong bettor..thats total bullshit I never heard of that! It's
weird seeing a table with no boxman, its as if your in some 2 bit fly by
nite loserville bust out gambling sawdust joint. The guy drinkin' in the
background adds to that feel..lol! I would only play there if I had a
friend with me, I wouldn't trust these guys, but then again no setting
forget that...
I have told them before. I will just keep with my opinion since I have been dealing dice for nearly 20 years. And the real winners are the ones running The Golden Touch Craps classes.
What is wrong w/you ppl that come off saying someone is stupid right away w/out further investigating or researching on your own?Tell it the ppl that run Golden Touch craps, ppl that have spent 1,000's of hours 'working' on perfecting the delivery of dice and only play certain places under strict conditions! Nothing here is 100% but a whole bunch of folks have been banned from (cough) 'playing' er I should say working dice tables all over the country! Of course it works,(they do shave the casino edge) but very few are dedicated enough, and they aren't running around bragging about their success! Have you a craps table in your house? In fact, these types of ppl have serious records of their work. Do you really think all dice are legit, if you are thinking 'yes' then you my friend have done zero work about this endeavor, again 'think' before calling ppl stupid! Thx
+djspairGood thought. But, ALL 5 casinos in Wendover do not allow dice setting. The whole town must have been taken at some point! DANG! Wish it had been me! LOL!
If you play at Tuscany casino in Vegas, they don't allow dice setting either. Usually when a table bans dice setting its because they've been taken for a lot of money from players who know how to shoot. Most likely this is the case. Some of the pro players who have been banned from Vegas & Reno probably hit this casino hard. On the flip side they probably use balanced dice which a lot of spots don't use anymore (thats why most casinos don't care if you set). Just a theory though.
