Running in Boulder: Long Run on trails

My girlfriend and I head out on some trails in Boulder, CO for a 22-mile long run. It is winter and there is a little bit of snow...but the sun is out! Video by: www.

it's been a pretty mild winter here...the last couple days we had quite a bit of snow/slush though. However the temperature when the sun is out is usually pretty warm..I think the coldest it's been this year is around 10 degrees F. Usually it's at least mid 30s during the day. It's been a cakewalk compared to upstate NY and Michigan where i've lived and trained before.

Hey Sage you got any tips on Goproing and trail runs. Just getting to grips with it and trying to get smoother images, chest harness is not good but still getting some impact judder on foot strike. I am forefoot runner and use minimal shoes but trying to be a lil more graceful? Maybe its just practice? Great vids as well :)

As I started watching this video I couldn't believe me ears, I thought you had used a song by the band "Agalloch," at least until the vocals began. Its almost creepy how similar the guitar tones are. Check out "Falling Snow," "Limbs" and "Our fortress is burning... Pt 1' and see what I mean.

Beautiful day, beautiful run! It's like we're there with you guys. Must be great running on dry trails, even in snowy conditions (if that makes sense?!). It's been so sludgy and muddy here in South East England this winter on the trails. Keep those great videos coming.

Nice video. Hey I saw your water strap/harness that carries 2 water bottles in a previous video you did talking about the mountain lion. You were wearing it again in this video. Could you tell me who makes them or what site to check out !!??

so beautiful. Unfortunately I am at home with serious knee pains. Bursitis inflammation and beginning arthritis comes with quite a bit of pain. Not being able to go running is mentally worse than a low patch during a really long run...

With city running you get to see more people. With trail running you see more nature.
