I am using this design (because its cool and the only 'how to make a hood' thing I could find) for the hoods for the players on my Paintball team (team name 'The Brotherhood') and I was wondering what would be the best kind of fabric to use? what material? and also what type of thread? and also would it be easy to make for a begginner? (I have never sown anything before but will be thought by my aunt). Thank you.

How did you do the stitching? Usually I flip it inside out to sew the edges and then flip it back so the seam is smooth. But some of the parts are too small to flip inside out. And how to you sew the final side? Sorry, I've never used a sewing machine, only hand sewn. Is there a special trick you use? Can someone help me? Thanks so much, and awesome vids by the way!

I don't mind giving some suggestions. I do a lot of sewing. For the hood, the material should be lightweight, and breathable. So I would go for cotton fabric. Thread can be tricky, cause it may look good enough but might be too weak. So, I would go for cotton thread. The strength is outstanding, and the texture of it will of course compliment the fabric.

What variation is this costume? I would watch the whole way through but my internet is super slow, so I'm just curious whether this is the Romulus Armor or another kind(?) I'm thinking of doing the young Ezio costume which is more basic but the details on this one is amazing!
