All you guys wondering why it sounds throaty, pause the clip on 22 seconds and look at the left pipe, that will give you an idea why, it got somethinh welded to the pipe, also its a straight piping with no mufffler or silencer hence the deep throaty sound.

There would be a little drone because of the muffler and resonator deleted but it should be bearable.

Remove the muffler and the resonator. Then, attach an x-pipe right after the secondary cats and go with straight pipes all the way to your quad tips.

+Christian Breslin I got the whole job done for $550 including parts. I got a small discount the labor though. It should be anywhere around $250-$400 for the labor and I had 2 parts: the X pipe ($100) and the replica tips ($250). I also got a body shop to cut my bumper but I knew the guy so it was free. Make sure to post videos of your exhaust and good luck!

I just had a body shop cut the bumper to match my tips. I didn't get a diffuser.

Thanks! It goes from the electric valve to the switch under the steering wheel and then straight to a blank slot on the fuse board.

Also, how do you rev match, just tap the throttle in between shifts? Does that hurt the gearbox?

Exhaust has been changed since, I made a silenced quad exit system but added an electric cut out. Think there's a video of it on here somewhere. Even with the valve open its alright inside. Surprisingly well insulated for even an old mercedes. Rev match is just timing the gear change and blipping it. Not sure it does the torque converter/gearbox much good but no sign of problems yet!

100% noticeable improvement top end, but very little improvement below 70mph aside from being slightly more responsive at higher RPM, Id expect a loss in torque. Ive I've since built a quad exhaust remapped it and removed the speed limiter. Be heading for a dyno soon.

Everything removed, 4x cats, centre and rear box all replaced with straight pipe. It's Ben changed since as was just too much.
