How right you all are! Seems you develop a sixth sense about customers before they even say a word... When a couple of us are watching people drive up the the dealership, we sometimes say their story out loud and then wait to see who's right. "They're here for the parts dept." "I'm $8k upside down in my Volkswagen and just got it 2 months ago, but I really want a Subaru." "Is Kevin here?" One of our favorite pastimes!

I have 2 Subies and love them, really great vehicles. I'd imagine you get lots of people who want to test drive the WRX or STI just to drive them and not actually buy. They probably fall into your third bad test driver category, taking turns like a F1 racer and speeding down the road.

Buying in another year!? I bet you can tell if they are upside down or not when they park! I used to cringe when I saw someone pull up in a Hyundai...back in the 90's they never held any value. If they owed a loan balance, they were most likely buried. Love the stories

When I test drove my 2013 Scion FR-S, I was embarrassed when I even stalled it once... It was my first time driving a manual in two years, and I was just nervous to drive basically my "dream" car. You have some patience man, I'm a horrible backseat driver.
