I've been following a guy in UK rebuilding a Ford Cortina and you should
have seen the nuts hidden in it. Packed full everywhere inc sills and box
sections.
Oh, I didnt remember/know that, one of my 76s has been converted to a single stock carb setup and it has the original stand and a facet electric fuel pump. Just had to change intake manifold and remove some wiring it looked like, I can take some pictures if you want to see the way its set up.
+557BBFprocharged The 73 has an alternator, but because it was fuel injected the fuel injection and alternator stand were built into one piece. I did go online last night and find an alternator stand. Since I've already got one and it's still bolted to the fan shroud I guess it would make since to run it. All I'd have to do is figure out how to wire it. Shouldn't be too hard..
Ah I see, I have a 71sb and 2 76 standards so my 71 has a gen with the separate regulator but I like the alternators better because of the better output for modern electronic stuff
