More likely polycarbonate for the larger tanks and acrylic for the smaller ones. The larger tank windows need to be incredibly strong and not break under any circumstance. Polycarbonate is something like 25x as strong as acrylic.
Ripley's Aquarium of Canada (Toronto, ON) Review
Ripley's Aquarium of Canada (Toronto, Ontario) Review. Not getting paid or sponsored by Ripley's. I just went for a day trip with my sister and thought I'd share a ...
What a super neat place! I would love to go there someday! Great channel
from one fellow Canadian to another. I have subscribed. Mind checking out
my channel, and maybe subbing back?
I went there after 7pm and still there was WAYYYYY too many people, you
actually had to wait in line to go into that long tunnel, and there was an
escalator type thing that everyone had to go on to go through the tunnel.
The whole time people had to push and shove to actually see the aquariums.
I also have social anxiety, the whole time I felt claustrophobic and
panicky with all of the people.
Pros:
-Fish seem to be all healthy, well taken care of
-Nice place, lots of variety
-Various interesting educational things around
-Get to touch sting rays and horseshoe crab
Cons:
-WAY too many people
-Had to wait 30min+ in line to get in
-No limit on ticket sales
-Fire hazard with so many people
-"No flash photography" was not enforced
-Horrible food area
If it weren't for the people I'd rate this place 4/5, if the food was
better then maybe even 5/5. However, the amount of people is ridiculous and
with that many people confined the chances are you're going to become ill
after ward. For that reason I rate it more like 1/5, MAYBE 2/5. They REALLY
need to limit their ticket sales, even after 7pm like they recommend is
horrible. Despite the complaints of a fire hazard, all they've done is
"Hire more staff for crowd control" and they refuse to limit ticket sales.
IKR! My family and I went there last summer and the line up to get in to the aquarium was so long! We had to wait in line for 30minutes or more and that small food eating area was way to small! All the tables were taken up because there were only like 5 or 6 tables! I'm like WTF that eating area is too small for a place with this many people! Although I wonder what happens when one of the fish in an aquarium die. I mean how do they take it out? Or do you think maybe the dead fish just get left in there.
me too, went there the other day XD lazy fuck apparently
