//clicktotweet.com/5a5pL Take a ride on the Timber Mountain Log Ride with a lumber jack theme to the ride and animatronics. At the end ger ready for a big ...
This is probably my all time favorite attraction at any theme park. I've
ridden it 5 times straight when there was no line. There's just something
great about being yelled at by the loggers and being referred to as "Hey,
you in the log." Also fun is raising and waving your arms in the air on the
lift at the end, as if you reach high enough you'll trigger a sensor that
will cause a loud "SIT DOWN" to be played. Ahhh the fun times of my youth.
35 years , actually. i grew up down the street from there in the 70's and
80's .. the shed on the north east side (parallel to the train tracks) was
an enclosed tunnel , then a few years ago 2009-10 they removed it's wall
offering a view, not of reflection lake, the carousel and the church of the
reflections, but of a big orange and yellow b and m suspended coaster which
, while fun, doesn't lend ANY continuity to the ghost town theme.
yes, or at least, they used to I could say. it used to be a haunted
attraction along with the mine ride. but this year, ending a long tradition
that dates back when haunt first started. all we know is that the rides
will "have something scary in them." heck, I know people who aren't going
just because of this. heck, they are trying to compete with disneyland
because they are removing the carnation plaza lol.
the opening of that shed is confounding, i suppose they did it to give
people a view of silver bullet , which really , is the last thing you want
people to see in a THEME park on a ride where the THEME is supposed to be
old timey lumberjacks in the old west cedar fair has AMUSEMENT parks all
over the country and only ONE theme park in their chain, you think they'd
get that right.
Hey do u wanna know what's funny. My 8th grade class with only 5 people
including me in the whole 8th grade in my school went to knotts berry farm
for graduation and we went on the log ride. On the final drop one of the
8th graders flashed the camera. So we went to check our picture and it was
censored. Even though he was a boy.
thats sort of like comparing a well maintained 1969 malibu to a fully
loaded 1989 mercedes. they are similar in that they are both flume rides,
but other than that they are two different things all together .
oh no really? :( Im going there next month and I really liked that log ride

File91e's Disney News & Reviews (Gran Fiesta Tour and Splash Mountain)
Hey all this week I review the Gan Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros in Epcot and Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom. You might be suprised what I ...
@file91e haha, it's cool man, lol. I have a few questions cuz I'm not even
1/3 the way thru all ur videos so I dunno if u have mentioned this in ur
videos, lol. Have u done a top 10 rides/shows from disney world? If not,
that would be a cool video to watch. And what is your favorite park out the
4? Favorite character?
@davisp508 I actually haven't done a "top 10" of anything...that's
something I'd need to actually sit down and think about. I have my birthday
coming up so I might start to do something like that then. But I get asked
that alot.
@TruthynessStrategery The key word here is "physique" contest, not "beauty"
contest. I think this is where the NPC is trying to make the distinction.
If it were face, then there's nothing stopping them by making the criteria
legs, arms, abs, breasts, butt, et. al.; everyone scratches their heads
over some of the judging in every category, beautiful women are not always
fit and fit women are not always beautiful! The last comment you and the
other post stated sums it up, haphazard and subjective
very good observation. They are still trying to define the sport and that's
how it goes when they incorporate a new division, they adapt as they go
along. Thanks for the comment and watch for more to come.
