Please someone answer me Does the fact that they have almost 40 gb of ram impact on zbrush performance? I mean, I have 8gb and zbrush starts to stutter at 10 million of polygons, if I get more ram will zbrush run smoother?

+VFX Ltd™ Yeah, I know about the 64bit ver. but I didn't knew the performance was so different. I'm learning zbrush so I didn't used HD geometry yet and can't say exactly how it works. Gonna have a look today, thks.

+Douglas MH For best performance try using zbrush 4r7 64 bit. And yes ram makes a big diff. If you wnana do small details, try using HD geometry

+Douglas MH it depends whether you're using 32-bit or 64-bit ZBrush.... 32-bit programs can only use 4gigs of RAM, if you want to be utilising the extra 4gig you have use 64-bit ZBrush. And yes, all the extra RAM will make a difference if you're using 64-bit ZBrush.

It's crazy after seeing all the movies I saw this year I wondered if Ant-Man which I'm currently seeing would pop up and it did! I still wonder if ZB is only used for concept or full modeling and render considering how difficult it is to animate z models.

i wish i pixologic had a college i could attend so i could go from basic beginner level right up to mastering zbrush, such a cool piece of software. wish i discovered it sooner
