+vapingpoint yes it will...I actually just had it happen...I came here because of a google search to see if it was my vape doing it, because it happened last night as well. Both times my room was cloaked in a dense fog. so given the right circumstances with the right mod and RDA, enough vape built up in a not so well ventilated room can set it off.

There is now a potential for ricking HUGE fines to vape on a plane as of October 2015 (potentially $25,000 USD if they're real assholes and actually divert the plane). I'd recommend not doing it. If you need a few puffs, I'd say go the the restroom and do it there, but no not blow clouds. One man was actually taken into police custody for setting off an alarm... not worth it when you can go super stealth in the bathroom!

+vapingpoint I've set off a few just sitting at my computer. It takes more than a few hits with a device that puts out a lot of vapor but it can be done without blowing it directly at the detector.

+james dunworth i vape on planes all the time. never had any problem. i do it in bathrooms or in my seat under a blanket lol. :Di use a crappy ecig that puts out less "smoke" and a higher nic level liquid. if you keep it in your lungs for a few seconds and exhale though the nose you won't put out much visible smoke.it's even better if you do it under a blanket:Dyeah, it's kinda risky but when i fly for 8-9 hours i NEED that vape:D

+vapingpoint Hotel room - probably not if you weren't sub-ohming. It has happened in aircraft - I wouldn't take the risk!
