American English is going down the tubes. I give it about 200 years until the US has it's own language. It will consist or words teenagers and idiots create, words that are currently being misused and acronyms. "Ain't" is already considered acceptable in speech as well as aks, instead of ask.

English is a living language, words change meaning, new words appear, old words disappear, it's all about people expressing themselves. There's no problem with that. It's not like it prevents you from expressing anything, you still can, it just gives you more freedom, which is good.
