i seen the same thing los altos..2 of them..i seen them 7pm.2 little lights,suddenly turn real bright then small again.they stood still for awile then slowley move,,aften ten minutes they turned off and disapeared.

My husband and I saw these on New Year's night as well around 6pm. We live in Philadelphia. There were 3 red lights in a diagonal pattern. They flickered. Then 2 of them disappeared and 1 remained lit for a while before that one disappeared. Looking on the net, they were seen all over the country. I'm glad you caught in on video. I wish we would have gotten footage.

I saw these lights about 11:30PM New Year's Eve off the 303 in the far north valley. They were above a very desolate track of mountains where they could not be mistaken for something else. Some friends of mine also saw them above South Mountain on the complete opposite side of town.

I'm glad you posted this. My girlfriend, our two friends and I watched these lights for a few minutes until they disappeared. They appeared just after midnight. We were celebrating in Gilbert, AZ. How crazy!
