I hope Ricky is reading this: I'm a muslim guy and - I'm sure you have heard of them - the things he described are djinns. They are described in Qur'an as creatures with intelligence. They have beliefs and religions and lives just like ours, however they do not possess a physical body like ours. They're more like electrical or fire-like beings able to partly interact our world and us. You can think of it as worlds within, but with a two sided mirror. Yeah, kinda unfair :) The other thing about them are sometimes they like to mess with us just for sports, sometimes they fall in love with us or sometimes they get angry at us because of number of reasons which make them interact with stronger strikes. In some Islam disciplines, very old scholars advice growing hair on back of your neck. When I first heard about that, I found that funny but then it started to make sense. Remember the implant interface in the Matrix movies, or in the Tom Clancy's Net Force series. The implant is connected through the back of your neck, the cerebral trunk. That place is the highway of synapses that reaches across your body. It connects all electro-chemical pulses between brain and other places. Which makes that place a good spot for hacking into the brain, broadcasting some pirate signals and then show us something we should not see or make us hear / feel something we should not. Maybe the elder people knew about that just like they knew human and earth nature better than us and thought growing hair on back of your neck might at least visually help preventing djinns from hacking in. The other interesting thing is about spiritual connection and material connection balance of our mind and body. You know, the monks in Tibets or Indian fakirs fasts for long periods of time. They believe it helps them connect to the spiritual world easier. I believe, the less the earthly sustenance we consume, the less bestial food we eat, the lighter and detached we feel. Which kinda makes sense when you think of it as weakening the body to heighten your senses to other beings vibrating in other "frequencies". So, I wonder if Ricky did anything like those above. Lastly, I want to tell my own story. I had a friend in college. We suspected he had schizophrenia. He had delusions, a perfect world of lies he believes in and even he made some of us believe in that too! So, one day he came into my house when I was having a nice chat with another friend of mine. We talked about this and that, after a few hours he took off. My friend wanted to go to bathroom, when he tried to get in, he couldn't. The bathroom was locked from inside with nobody in it. We prayed and prayed yes we are believers :) as we worked on the lock. In fact the lock was a very easy one to open from outside. It had a split on the outside which you can insert a credit card or something like that then turn around to open from outside. But the lock wouldn't move. It felt like it was held by a physical object or A SPELL. Funny, right? We prayed harder and worked harder on the lock and after an hour it opened. When we got in, we both felt a chilling feeling and a gaze upon ourselves. That was horrifying. Couldn't sleep that night, we prayed and tried to forget everything about the evening. But it wasn't over. Later in the morning, the door rang. I walked to the door and found out it was already opened. I locked it myself after the haunted friend was gone and my friend double checked it before he went to bed. But it was wide open and a neighbour rang the bell to warn us. That was freaking terrifying. A few months later, mom was home and we were chatting about something. The same haunted friend came to our house and drank tea with us. When he left, mom told me she felt uneasy around that guy and she got goose bumps since he left the house. She told when he left home, he didn't take everything with him, or everyone. You see, my mom is sensitive to the "othersidy" things just like those monks. She sees some strange dreams about things that not yet happened. She had a night terror that night and I told her about the last visit of the haunted guy and she said she had a night terror that night either! I'm a amateur astronomer and science lover but also a believer. And I believe, Ricky might have lived something like that too :)

Only watching it because of my dp....

The columbine kids weren't Manson fans they were KMDF fans....however one of the members (Tim Skold) did go onto join Manson's band a couple years after Columbine occurred. Still I don't know where Ricky got that loose quote.
